Too bad I didn't see this as a little kid. For some reason, I was fascinated by that sign and always wished some character would mention it or pay attention to it. (You know kids and their weird fixations :) This would have totally made my day.
And I really dig this earlier Elmo--he's nothing but a three-year-old kid covered with red fur. Very appealing character.

I can tell just by looking at the set that this is from 1988/1989.

Sesame street isn't right any more with ELMOs WORLD, only 10 minutes of scenes.
I miss Bob so much

thumbs up doesn't do enough to say how much I agree with you.

@leg1024 Remember when he said "Sesame Elmo's House" in this clip? Then it seems that way now. I agree with you, it just isn't right.

I saw Bob at the Rose Parade. He was on the Sesame Street float, and I went ballistic since I used to watch the program as a little boy.

Blech! I'd rather see twenty minutes of Bob! Being around since the very beginning, he deserves it.

Well, at least he didn't say Sesame Elmo's World. Why can't Elmo be more like that today?
