  • aww i'm glad that you guys are bringing the dog back.

  • I read about this dog in Dubai... dog was almost RIP but survived

  • Awwwwwww

  • All I can say is awwwww

  • How did I get from Total Recall Commentary to this? o.o

  • I hope you all familly are happiness with Holly.

  • Read the description, people. That dog is lucky to have such a loving family to look after her. I know all too well what it's like to lose a dear pet, and this reunion makes for one of the most touching videos I have ever seen.

  • Lindo momento! São pessoas assim que nos fazem acreditar que nem tudo esta perdido no mundo. Valeu Alyssa !! Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

  • The government is only looking out for your Best interest when it delays your reunion with your dogs and its only expensive for this process because they are trying there best to reunite man and dog

  • I cried T_T

  • tears almost went to flow down my cheek while watching this. Adorable, just adorable.

  • Shipping a dog between countries can be such an ordeal once your attached to your little fluffy, but it is absolutely worth it! I spent 6 months going through the ups and downs of tests trying to get my 2 Thai dogs to Australia from Bangkok, and at one point wondered if Id ever see them again, because they weren't passing tests... but somehow fate allowed it..and they are now living the best years if their life...they are so happy here! And to think they would have probably drowned in the floods

  • ( ToT )

  • Awwww! This is so sweet. It brought a tear to my eye. Love never fails!

  • Say this on Daybreak this morning, Bought a tear to my eye! What a amazing thing to do!

  • Very touching, brought a tear to my eye. It was shocking to see that holly is the twin in looks of our family dog roxy.

  • What a fantastic story.....you obviously did all you could to make this happen. Your daughters reaction to having her beloved pet back moved me to tears as I would want the same for my daughter and our beloved labradoodle....I am so glad that you are all back together as a family, and may you never be parted again....!!

  • I saw this on daybreak this morning and me and my mum cried our eyes out!

Saw it again and crieedd, this is so good to see her dog again! awwww

  • Your circumstances led to Holly being left in Dubai, but all is well now and she is reunited. I can't explain the emotion I felt seeing the look on your daughter's face and her reaction to seeing Holly - God Bless you all xxxx

  • Strange...my brother's emotional dog video becomes a forum for a racist argument. Fuckwits.

  • i hardly cry but this did indeed bring a tear of happiness to my eye Alyssa and Holly are both adorable xxx

  • that is adorable im so happy for Alyssa and your family. thank god you got her back xxx <3

  • off to play mw3 now...with tears in my eyes...just proves that dogs are for life...brilliant...

  • @draken1500 lol

  • awwwwww she looks like my dog! thats so cute and its lovely you have her home<3

  • I can't believe that there are people arguing in the comments, on such a happy video. People, read the description and you'll realise why the dog was 'dumped', and please stop arguing. You're destorying the happiness this video is all about.

  • we need more stories like this. pure love.

  • What a good person you are to have done this. A nice happy video for the festive period. DGS x

  • I'm a vet tech who works at a shelter part time; I am a vicarious advocate for keeping animals with their family at all costs. This family did have to give up their dog but they did what most people would never do--tracked the dog down and paid to have it flown BACK. Amazing dedication on the part of Holly's family and may you guys have many many happy years together.

  • Holly's eyes are so big! And Alyssa's accent is d'aww. xD

  • You should have never abandoned the dog, we all know how Middle Easterners treat animals (you must be thankful that Holly wasn't cooked for lunch or dinner actually by a poor family)....thank God you did the right thing in the end!

  • @cat22203 this is a highly racist and uneducated comment.... perhaps you've never been to DUBAI, but its hardly representational of the stereotypical culture you're referencing. Last time I was there, I picked up Starbucks in the airport before heading to an INDOOR SKI RESORT. Nevermind the fact that the impoverished middle east you're thinking of doesn't even EAT DOG MEAT....way to confuse it with rural Korea and Vietnam.

  • @irkenequine YOU ARE the highly uneducated one or simply another MIddle Easterner who is trying to portray things under another light. I am part of an animal humane society and we are gathering report after report from all over Europe: The Middle Easterners who have flooded Europe now are stealing and kidnapping the pets of the Europeans and sell them in illegal markets to be cooked for dinner. We have numerous reports of Middle Easterners attacking dogs and cats with bats, kill them, skin them

  • @cat22203 and cook them...So far we have Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, people from Qatar, Yemen, Syria and Iran going to court for skinning stray dogs and sell them in illegal markets. Last time I checked the map, all these countries belong to the Middle East! Until you decide to change your brutal Islamist ways against women, children and animals, shut up and go hide back to your cave liar!

  • @cat22203 You even fail at being a succesfull troll. Muslims are forbidden to eat dog meat.

  • @tpmableful Come say these sorry excuses to the Iraqis, Afghans, and others who were arrested yesterday for this matter in Greece and Italy! If these sorry Islamist ways embarrass you, then stop resorting to them (like you treat women and children in the whole Middle East, but I guess Amnesty International and the European Parliament are "trolls" too)...when we expose you for your barbaric, uncultured way...well, truth hurts! LOL

  • @cat22203 Oh, I'm sorry. I must have given you the wrong impression with my previous comment. What I should have said was: go away, weirdo.

  • 1:31 Happeh Fayce!

  • Well done! Alyssa.. You have wonderful parents.

  • Hey Daz see your hits have gone nuts! Check out my Christmas song video!

  • SHES ADORABLE!!!!!

  • Has it still not occurred to people that they can read the description instead of posting stupid comments about why they left their dog behind?

  • Brilliant !!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • Moved to tears..lovely story

  • are they speakin english

  • @lolwow16 no their speaking Arabic.

  • Awwe :,( :) glad she got Holly back :)

  • Oh my god I'm sobbing my heart out, I'm such a softy!!!

  • Excellent... brought tears to my eyes.....give Holly a BIG HUG from me.....

  • She is so pretty!

  • @TopGoldVideos you should say that you're referring to the dog, you know how youtube can be sometimes

  • @CJCymru

    what's wrong with that comment?

  • some people spend £1,300 on a laptop, I think this is very much justified and money well spent.

  • From the description ...it was their dog. They lived in Dubai, then moved to the UK, left the dog there. Put up for adoption.

The dog was then adopted by another family, they abandoned her.

    Read the description!

IMHO...they never should have dumped Holly in Dubai. What are they teaching their daughter? It's okay to dump your dog when you move?

I am glad they took the time to get Holly back, but she never should have been dumped!

  • @IcePonyGoddess Thank you for your comments. The original video was intended for family and friends who knew about our circumstances. I respect your rights to have your opinions totally, however I have updated the description to provide more information and cater for an international audience.

  • @dazzasmith1971 Thanks for sharing this adorable and precious moment. :')

  • @dazzasmith1971 I believe you did exactly as I would have. I love my dog Cuqui (pronounced Cookie). She is a mixed breed as well and a very important part of our family. If it is possible, we would love to share with you pics and video of our dog as we can't believe how much alike they are. Same color pattern, same face, expressions, very similar overall. My daughter almost flipped when she saw her own Cuqui on TV. She was completely amazed. Our email is leoperzel@gmail.com.

  • @IcePonyGoddess As you were'nt there and don't know what the circumstances were your comment is harsh and insensitive too. This family did find a loving home for their dog and quite rightly believed they had spared the dog from the trauma of 6 months quarantine. From what we see and read here they didn't spare any expense when it came to getting her relocated back to the UK either. A quick peek into your nearest animal recue will show you what 'dumped dogs' are all about.

  • So precious. I cannot believe that 7 people disliked this

  • I'm actually a member of the animal welfare organization that rescued Holly, and a close friend of the kind lady that fostered her for 6 months, and met Holly many times.

One thing that was not mentioned in the video description is that Holly was rescued JUST 30 MINUTES before she was about to be euthanized by the local municipality!! And then the way she was found again by her original owner all the way from the UK is a true miracle :-)

  • Big mistake watching this in the office...... bless her heart. What a beautiful video! As a dog owner myself I'd be sobbing in the corner if this ever happened to me.

  • Glad they got her back.....but they NEVER should have left her there in the first place!

  • @IcePonyGoddess : you cannot bring a dog into England for 6 months after a Rabies shot, as the blood test needs to be clear. It was not their dog, it was abandoned by another family. I hope this clarifys this for you ?

  • That's what i call a few well spent pounds. By the way is that a cello case in the rear?

  • awwwww :) so pleased you managed to bring holly home.

  • six months isnt that long jeez

  • Brings a tear to my eye, thank you for sharing!

  • family returning home from dubai= a few £1000

returning holly from dubai=£alot of ££££££££££££

the look on allysa's face when she sees holly again after 6 months= PRICELESS

    this is so beautifull

  • who the hell would dislike this video? seriousy? wow people just wow

  • i lol'ed

  • Crying so much. My 9 year old daughter is looking at me like I'm mental but I don't care. I love my dog so much so anything like this, makes me cry. So pleased for Holly, Alyssa and her family.

  • Aww sweet Alyssa, bless your heart, your tears of joy made me cry too! I'm so glad Holly was reunited with you and your family! Way to go Mom and Dad! May you have many years of love and companionship with your Holly! And to others, please don't judge this family's decision as you don't know the circumstances. What counts is the happy ending and the joy in that little girl's heart.

  • /watch?v=7rX3SHgVNyo

  • Just seen Channel 5 news report on this story. Good for you!

  • This made me cry so much! We just paid around £2000 ourselves to take our dog with us to Australia even though she is 12 now i just couldn't face leaving her behind.

  • Destiny! Meant to be together! Love it (even if it isn't a cat video)!

  • awweee that video is priceless... made me cry!!!

  • So glad that good things DO happen!

  • I saw this on BBC News and just had to comment on this very moving famiy reunited with doggy moment. Well done parents of Alyssa, she will always remember what you did, and lots of family doggy happiness to you all.

  • I'm glad to see the world in not entirely messed up. She found her own oasis of happiness! :)

  • So touching! Am glad Holly is back with her forever family now x

  • Felicitaciones. Suerte con éste animalito.

  • lol, lovely dog. Take good care of her (I know you will!)

  • What a lovely little girl. I wish you and Holly many many happy years together!

  • What a sweet girl. I'm so glad she got her dog back.

  • Crying like a baby here. So relieved I'm on my own.

  • I have never worn a bigger grin than I am wearing right now. =D

  • Heard about this on the radio so looked it up. Really nice ending to the story

  • oh my goodness, watching this in public was a big mistake.... cute is an understatement!

  • @roadrunnersam yeah, im on a computer witha couple of tears in my eyes 'cause of the onions :), and everybody looking at me like WTF....

  • yeah, now I really need to drink beer and watch some mma to prove my manhood.

  • @mckojo xD

  • If someone could bring back to me my dead dog trust me i would cry for an entire life even if i'm a youngman :D

  • @staranisee is right. if you adopt a dog, you should commit to the dog until the end of their life. you should not abandon the dog or cat just because you're moving. the same way they manage to get the dog to britain this time, they should have done it the first time. this had a happy ending, but most of the time abandon stories don't.

  • @dusadusa That's what I don't understand... if they were able to do it this time, why didn't they do it the first time?

  • @JennaGlatzer they thought they had left the dog in safe hands when they left dubai. Adoption is often preferable because to bring a dog into the UK requires 6 months in quarantine (we don't have rabies here and take great steps to keep it that way). 6 months is a long time for a dog to be away from its owners so many people choose to find a nice home locally instead. However the family that adopted her either abandoned her, or she got herself lost.

  • That really put a smile on my face, as well as tears of happiness. What a lovely thing those parents did, for their daughter and Holly!

"When one time it receives it stops as a family such as the circumstance which does not stop it cannot consider, Why you released! Don't you think? is just that"

    My thoughts exactly.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • What a lovely dog. What a lovely little girl.

    Wonderful moment.

  • Obviously I do not know their circumstances but as the owner of 6 rescue dogs (most who were in danger of being pts) I would never leave part of my family behind. Glad there was a happy ending though.

  • That's lovely but perhaps the family should have just flown their dog home with them in the first place.

  • @staraniseee You can't just bring a pet over from another country, they have to be vaccinated and kept in quarantine before they can be brought over. Do your research before making such a retarded comment.

  • Whoa that's lovely. What a priceless reaction from the girl

  • god looked after Holly until she could come home to her forever family!!!

  • やむをやまれぬ事情など家族として一度迎え入れたら考慮できないよ

    なぜ手放した! それだけだね

  • Fantastic made my day, and yes made me cry :):):)

  • Sooo sweet, adorable story!!!!!!!!! ;))

  • I read the description thinking holly was a little girl

  • @Thirdsunday24 me too.

  • What a lucky girl and what a lucky dog :)

  • Thumbs up if you think she's a pretty girl

  • Awwww she was SO close to being put-down? Really?

Oh my gosh! I almost cried as well after reading the video description. If this happens to my dog I will do everything I can do bring it back! I won't let it be put down.

  • That's the way to do parenting. And dog owning. And child raising.

  • time to rip out the vacuum cleaner, damn dust

  • I should probably stop chopping these onions...
