Well, we were going to back the truck up into a different position, but I could not get the door to latch, and for some reason we could not put the truck in reverse without the door being closed. My husband had to get out and latch the door, turned out the door wouldn't latch because the ramp wasn't fully in all the way. The whole thing was a bit silly in that we attempted this with just two people in the first place, and obviously we weren't being very smart.
im guessing... FAIL. LOL. my family just moved my player piano in... it was hell. my older brother was lifting one side while my mom and dad and uncle were on the other. i couldnt do anything cuz im only a kid...
I move pianos for a living, and we tell people that if they plan to move their own piano, let us know so we can bring the folding chairs and watch.
That was some serious ineptness. I stand in awe.
The only reason it takes two people to move a little piano like that is because the piano manufacturers put the handles at each end. If they would just put one on top you could carry it like a briefcase,
ur just scratching the piano and u didnt have the ramp right ur suposed to lift it up into the hooks above it so there is no bump when ur loading furniture lol
Every piano is light. When you have a liftgate. And Uhauls never do. Penske trucks do upon request.
