You are right to not sell her. Yeah lacey may rear, bronc, buck, spin, bolt, barge, bite.... but she doesn't love anyone like she loves you. If you sell her you never know where she might end up, she loves you and trust's you to keep her safe, even with her difficult attitude ! - You desurve all the good things that come to you, for not giving up on her... so i say well done - You are a fine example of a horse women.

I've had the same troubles with my horse, Rocket, that you have/had with Lacey. Except I can no longer work to improve Rocket, he was killed in a terrible accident a few months back. Watching these videos of Lacey reminds me of Rocket and though I cry, I am so grateful to see such a person like me who never gave up on their "problem" horse.
I am so happy you have had that chance to find one like Lacey. I'm sure every horse lover who really has the passion for equines has their soulmate out there for them that isn't human, that is a horse. I haven't found that day, but I am so happy you did and I continue hoping I will get the same oppertunity.
Lacey's beautiful. You're obviously very fond of her. Horses get bored jumping plus you look really tense. Your reins are way too short.. You being up-tight will effect her. This pony needs to find the joy of a companion rider again. Try not jumping but hacking only for six months, long reins and strong squeezing legs. Over-all your aids are just too busy. You're using your whip, reins and legs too much (flapping not pushing). I'm glad you love her. Good luck!

It was really late at night when i woke up to that horse scream (really scary!) So i ran as fast as I could to the barn (Im only 11!) And I looked around and saw Temples (age 9) lying on the ground and his leg was all bloody and boney. So I ran back to the house and called my Dad and the doctor. And within minutes the doctor came. Apparently he had been shot in the leg! We waited forever in the emergency place and then temples came out and just then i decided...
try a chiropractor it might be a pinched nerve or something of that matter my horse was doing the same thing and when the chiropractor worked on his back he was back to normal

This video brought back more than a few memories of my own. It reminds me of my first (and forever special) horse, Shaitan, a blood bay Arabianxquarter horse ridgeling that no one could do anything with - somehow, we connected instantly. We were practically inseparable & went everywhere & yes, he used to drink my coffee, too... & nick my lemon curd toast, nap with me in the paddock on warm summer days, try to follow me into the house... I still miss him.

i had a horse like this, her name was shyla...and she was verrryy difficult, but we had a great bond...but she got really sick and we had to put her down :(

keep going i have a pony who was exactly the same as yours i battled for about 2 years to get him away from his freinds to get him in the lead of other horses, to walk over a pole! he bucked at everything idid..years on he still is a very big hand full ! no bit will stop him i have never ever seen a pony with the will he has but i have learnt so much from him i wish you good luck

Silly me! I checked out your page and she's a Welshy X. Very cool! She has a huge scopey jump! I'm in Australia. I have a 23yr old retired Appy that I sort of saved and then retired her. I'm 23 now, I used to ride for over 8years but had to quit due to certain reasons & I have since lost all my confidence with being on a horses back (not ground handling) but watching your vids is really inspiring, so thank you!!! Btw what was wrong with Lacey??? I'd love to know how you fixed her! She is a gem!

For all the Haters writing nasty comments on your video's, F*** them, you are a fantastic rider, your patience is incredible! So glad you did not give up on her. Can I ask what breed she is, obv Clydie X! but what else? and how big is she? She only looks about 14.2 or something! this is the sort of thing only a horse and human can understand...i have a cob who's so naughty; he rears,bucks,naps, spooks at everything,refuses to jump etc,but because he's so gorgeous, funny and is sometimes an angel,the good times outweigh the bad,and people who tell me to sell him make me nearly cry at the thought! i love my chunky cobby boy!

Wow, very nice horse. I work with a lot of horses labelled rogues. The best horses have a lot of spirit and smarts, Who wants to ride a plodding deadhead? I like the NH methods. Establishes control without breaking their spirit. btw, love the feathers. What breed is she?

This video brought back more than a few memories of my own. It reminds me of my first (and forever special) horse, Shaitan, a blood bay Arabianxquarter horse ridgeling that no one could do anything with - somehow, we connected instantly. We were practically inseparable & went everywhere & yes, he used to drink my coffee, too... & nick my lemon curd toast, nap with me in the paddock on warm summer days, try to follow me into the house... I still miss him.

never sell her i have a pony and absulutly hated him he ran my under trees reared and bit but he still loved me he even puts my feet in the stirrups and when i was little he new i was scared so he layed down to let me get soo no matter what happens never sell her youll always regret it
