Can you put the mod folder in the IL2 file Steam has on your computer? I'm asking this because I cannot find that Ubisoft folder.

The two starter / faster engine was used by take off and after the gear up they droped them down

The two rockets arent guided drived, there was a slim wire between the jet and a rocket, it was about 3-4 km long.

guided bombs, guided rockets, once you have a guided bomb, you can guide a rocket in the very same way...

They had a guided rocket, with a 4km long wire, in order to stear it...

But they had also one that got attracted by heat... Without wire...

And once you found out how it worked, you would not be surprised,

because it works as simple as f*cking hell...

@oboynarkomanen Yes, But I believe There is one extra step, I'd suggest you head over to "Allaircraftsimulations. com/forums" or "SAS1946. com" and use the search function, If you cant find anything, Make an account and ask somewhere on the forum.

@TheTorri98 Those are extra boosters included with the mod, they make your plane accelerate A LOT more on take off, meaning shorter times and less length for take offs.

@glindboy101 Making planes maximum speed higher, for all I know, takes a pretty skilled modder, but if you want to make a plane fly faster at the start of a mission, simply edit the mission you want the the full mission builder and set your airplanes speed as high as it will go.

@hawker445 Oh, well, for the fire and forgets, once you fire them, they lock on to the closest; Bomber if its within 10 KM, or closest fighter fighter if its within 5 KM, And for the other type of missile, simply padlock the enemy you want shot down, and if it is in a certain cone shaped area ahead of your plane, it'll be hit.

@hawker445 Hmm, Perhaps you should try the fire an forgets, this is a highly experimental new mod, the pad lock method won't work sometimes, but it works more then 80% of the time with me, perhaps you didn't pad lock correctly, check your controles and choose your pad lock keys.

@bob75ify It was a modified F-51, the americans had stolen alot of V1 doodle bug engines and thought "Meh what the fuck" and strapped 2 on, the plane flew a couple recon missions, but never shot a single bullet.

@317andrew317 you new to il2 stuff, arnt you? well when you download the patch, you should have an EXE, just double click it, it'll run, and then point it to ur il2 directory, it should already install there anyway, so dont do that, and to make sure it is patched, run the game, and in the bottum right while its loading it will say "Running il2 4.08m"

Sorry, make a mods file inside C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Mods (make a mods folder) then add the files named "ME-262" and "Rocket X4 Homing" to that file. and enjoy it :) oh ya, the loadout will only modify ME-262 HGII. also, you need the 4.08 patch. hope i helped :)
