actually, the ending King wrote is different from the movie. The book had an open ending, you don't know what happens to them when they depart in the cat. This ending was conceived by the director I think, though King liked it

Well, the spiders kinda got my attention though. I knew they would shoot some kinda web 2 slow them down. Turned out it not only slowed them down, it had acid in it. U can see the web deepining into the flesh of the people. But still theres 1 mystery though. I don't understand why people keep saying it's a scary movie. I saw it, and liked it, but there wasn't really anything scary about it.. There were a few scares, for example the bug slamming into the window, but they just made you jump a bit out of surprise and weren't actually scary.

It was one terrifying movie with all the essential elements to make it really scary but i wonder why i was left hanging towards the end of the story... the thing walkd away and the key characters were killed and the lead was left agonizing with guilt over his doing..... and then the rescue and search party went by.... that was miserable but too hung up for the ending.
