@staticbeats1 He's using a whammy pedal, exclusively made by digitech and with wich you can raise up or down your pitch by over two octaves with an expression pedal ( same form as a wha or a volume pedal ). Quite expensive : 230 to 300 dollars, but a lot of fun. It's also used by Steve Vai, Tom Morello or The Edge from U2. Forgive my english.

Hes not the first one to do this, but hes one of the better ones and hes a still a decent guitar player, no slash or Jimi Hendrix though. Least not yet.
