they are not breaking. it is called lofting you would know this if you grew up in new york in the 70's and 80's night club scene. and as for BBoys sorry to say but that culture is gone BBoying was far more than what you think or could imagine
House and break have crossed over and enriched each other since the start. I'd go so far as to say neither would even exist without the other. Lofting isn't breaking, but I've seen bboys do lofting and house dancers do break and it was on point. Putting up those kind of boundaries ain't gonna do no good for your dancing. Just let it flow.
jezz poster calls himself bboy and doesnt know the diferrence between house dancing and breaking.for your info in nyc house dancers have always incorporated floor moves called lofting(because of the dancing created at the loft).dont be lazy and search for ,the history of bboying and house dancing .they go together ,the ying to the yang sort of speak.its all street dance.
@bboyTanel Yo, don't judge. BBoying is funky, house is funky. A lot of bboys supplement their tops and uprocking with a good foundation in house. I've talked to a lot bboys that are big in the scene and a lot have told me that house is really good for improving your fluidity, freestyles, and musicality. In my opinion, good tops will often look a little like house, and good house will look like really good tops with a bit of a groove. Watch Wanted Posse at Funkin Styles. You def see the combo.
i will make it to these in new york i MUST
