The thing about Same Rights but a different name is, Marriage has become a lot more than a religious ceremony and is a cultural event now, non-religious straight people get married not as an act of Faith, but as a cultural life event. So I can see why other gays don't want a "Civil partnership ceremony" or alike, because it isn't the cultural experience.

This was a great ruling.I get so annoyed by the fundamentalists always trying to inject their morality into everything. What difference does it make if two gay people get married? None. And all the arguments they have come up with are not supported by any evidence what-so-ever,in fact its always just the opposite.
