I am from Denmark and i liked Schmeichel so much more. he is what all the clubs today is looking for. But i dont think that he's son, Kasper Schmeichel can be so good.
Van der Sar is really a great keeper, but I most say that people in here who claims him to be better than Schmeichel either have a very short memory or they are not old enough to have seen Schmeichel dominate in the 90's, because it was unbelievable.. Still Van der Sar is good, but still a long ways away from Big Pete..
i'm a Manu fan.. personally, i think, van der Sar is better than Schmeichel.. If i were Fergie, I'd point van der Sar to be the Manu captain instead of Giggs or Ferdinand replacing Neville
I am a United fan too, but still I think the Dane was the best. Edwin and Schmeichel are world class keepers, but Schmeichel had something special - which made him to the Worlds best.
