I find your performance most delightful and wanted to thank you for your piano skills, study and generosity sharing your work with the u tube community. Best of lucks
@damien4135 Thanks for watching. Unfortunately it's been a while since I posted this and I'll need to seriously brush up on the piece before I can re-record it from a different angle. I'll seriously consider this suggestion if that happens though.
This is incredible. I am only an intermediate piano player and struggle to make it through the simple aria. This is quite a feat! Do you think that an adult intermediate piano player could ever get to the level to play the GV?
Thanks for the comment, Hapworth16th! To answer your question, I definitely think it's possible, but I suppose it depends on how much time you can devote to learning it. But yeah, I don't see why it can't be done!
@Hapworth16th Absolutely it's possible! There will be mistakes while you learn, and you will seriously consider giving up. Just play when you feel like playing and take it slowly. Good luck. :)
Thanks for the great music, pianoglen! I am also a piano lover who is learning Goldberg Variations, for my own fun. I just finished Aria, Var.1, 5, 30 and now practicing 3 and 29. It's such a long way to accomplish all the 31 pieces, but your video is so encouraging, to see not a professinal player playing all the variations. From technical point of view, what's the top five difficult variation?
Thank you, fairyfeller2000! I think one answer to your question is that it depends on how fast you decide to play them. 26 can be very hard, but not too hard if you don't fly through it. That applies especially to every third variation beginning with #5. Thematically, I suppose #25 is tough. 12, 16, and 17 were tricky for me, as were others ... basically they're all hard! good luck!
wow!! alll of the varations?!?! thats crazy! lol, i'm working on a SOME of them and it takes while to memorize them and everything. i'm doing 1,2,5,6,8,14,20,21,22 and the last one....jeez, how long did it take you to learn all of them ??! xD
Thank you, davebeeboss! Unfortunately the "toy" is all I can afford at the moment. But as toys go, I am very happy with the sound and feel of the FP-7.
you are good sir! no matter how long it takes I'm going to master this.
