But how do you mute the cymbals, i see you did that, i have the HD-1, non upgraded, and one of the reasons im buying a better (TD-4 or TD-9) electric drum kit is because you can't mute the cymbals, so you can? (Reasons im getting a new: Pedal, Lack of good kits in the selection, cymbals not mutable, sound quality compared to better kits)

@olaingebriktdoennem Neither can I. But I wanted to record this kind of songs so what I did is adding muting and double bass strokes in the final audio mix. It's kinda weird because I always practice the songs on an acoustic kit, and then I change to this electric drumset so limited that I can't do all the tricks, and I have to add them on post-production.

Someday I could save money enough to buy a TD4, but till then I'll keep doing this.
