Maine Coons talk too much. My mom's Maine Coon is really close to her and whenever she says something to him, or even asks him a question, he gives her like seven sentences! He never shuts up LOL! I played this video when he was in my room, and he seemed to enjoy it, maybe because your cat's chatter sounds just like his LOL!

Micmac was awesome and very beautiful. My Fur Baby Miss Edith is as a chatterer and a cuddler too! She's my heart. Though it's not the same its wonderful to have these video's to remember your sweetie by.
LOL I have watched this video several times, I always smile when I listen to MicMac's chirps and meows. My tortie maine coon, Sadie makes those chirping noises too, especially when she wants food.
I love MicMac, rest his soul. He definitely was a handsome kitty.

What great cats they are! I am so sorry to hear about your baby. I had one named Cody. He was such a funny cat. He only lived to 6 years old, This poor cat got passed around from owner to owner, until he met me. I only had him for a year when he developed cancer of the jaw. We tried everything to help him, but unfortunately it was a very aggressive cancer. I miss him so much. Now I have 5 other cats, along with my 2 dogs and a turtle.
He is so kind hearted and lovable. what a lucky owner you were. To bad such a wonderful cat had to be taken from you. I wish the best of luck to you and your other pets. P.I.P Micmac
My friend has one of these. It's old as fuck. We're not completely sure how old, but he's guessing about 16-18 at this point. They've had the cat forever, and it wasn't young when they got it.
That chirping meow is so typical of Maine Coons. My Sassy Boo does the same thing. Did Mimic also rub all over your hair after taking a shower? It is so ticklish.
What a handsome cat. Reminds me of my late cat who was a mixed breed, but I think that he had Maine Coon in him, because he was large and had that basic hair pattern, though he was black. He was talkative just like that. He was the sweetest cat you can ever imagine. He never hurt a fly.
I'm new to the cat world. Before adopting I spoke to numerous people and did research. I have a "little" velcro kitty of a Maine Coon. He's a precious little pearl! I must say that I never knew cats "talked" so much. I knew they varied in the amount of meowing, but my Boogie is up there in the chatty katty level like MicMac! Totally awesome!
My maine coon died young too :( he had cancer...my mom didn't tell me until I came home from college for Christmas. She kept him alive with chemo for me. He passed on his own, which made it a little easier since I didn't have to put him down...but he was my baby, my best friend since I was 7. It was very hard to lose him. We have a new MC now but she doesn't seem to like me too much.
These kind of cats will interrupt a group of people having a conversation and join in. They are like guard dogs when it comes to pest such as rodents. They are alot of them in Birmingham, AL along the foot steps of the Appalacian Mts.

Samantha my Beloved Blue Patched Tabby Maine Coon passed 5 days after her 16th birthday on May 13th after tumors were discovered around her spleen and in her intestines, she died in my arms.
I wish I had some videos of her to share, she was my best friend for 15 1/2 years.
I got mine from a local pet shelter and didn't even know what a Maine Coon was at the time. They gave me a free cat food when I bought her and the only reason I ever found out she was a certain breed was because she looked EXACTLY like the cat on that cat food box. Since then I've learned she must definitely be one.
That looks the same as my maine coone. But he doesn't talk that much. Lovely breed. Mum rescued him from vet and he latched onto me, so i have the pleasure of looking after him. Brillian breed.

Yes I found my Maine Coon as a stray cat in Montreal. I didn't know he was a MC, just got him home, cause he was very friendly and beautiful... He still is and I'm glad I took him home. I don't understand how can you get rid of a cat like that or just any cat or any animal. It's irresponsible and very cruel. Some people have no soul!

@PhillipTG1984 We actually found out cat outside. My friend called me up and said she found a kitty in her garage and asked everyone if they lost a kitten, so we took him in since she couldn't find his owner. My mom felt so bad for him, he was SO skinny and was SO hungry, it was so hard to watch him eat like crazy! I don't understand how anymore can abandon any cat.

Aaaw i so miss my old cat he was also a maine coon, used to call him Squeek since he never shut up but by god i miss hes non-stop shatter. And ty for putting this vid up on your cat hes adoreble and he totaly converted my BF from being a dog person to becoming a cat person!

Yes I found my Maine Coon as a stray cat in Montreal. I didn't know he was a MC, just got him home, cause he was very friendly and beautiful... He still is and I'm glad I took him home. I don't understand how can you get rid of a cat like that or just any cat or any animal. It's irresponsible and very cruel. Some people have no soul!

@jzathey I am very sorry for you loss. Its so hard to lose a family member. We just lost our dog Rocky 4 months ago and I'm still finding it hard to believe that he is gone after 13 years.
and my cat who we think is also a maine coon cat cant stop looking at this video.

@OrioleBeagle I am with you totally. I was playing my buddies cat knowing it might happen but hoping it wouldn't. But I had the worst allergic reaction to him. It looked like my neck was burned with curling iron. And I really want a Bombay and a Russian Blue.

I live in Montréal (6 year old Maine Coon) and have been told on numerous occasions that MC's are some of the most abandoned cat-- people can't handle their chatty and outgoing nature. Anyone looking for an MC should look no further than their local SPCA or cat shelter.

He will take to patting me with his paws...or sprawling across whatever I am writing or reading. He's particularly loud at night and will just about chase me into bed each night chirping and head butting me until I give in. I wish I could teach him to "wait his turn" to talk

@PhillipTG1984 We actually found out cat outside. My friend called me up and said she found a kitty in her garage and asked everyone if they lost a kitten, so we took him in since she couldn't find his owner. My mom felt so bad for him, he was SO skinny and was SO hungry, it was so hard to watch him eat like crazy! I don't understand how anymore can abandon any cat.

@PhillipTG1984 Ooh that's weird because I have one and he rarely ever meows. He is so quiet it is disconcerting sometimes. Maybe it is just a personaility thing lol It is sad if they are abandoned though, they are beautiful animals.

@PhillipTG1984 I got my maine coon at the SCPA. He was so dirty I didn't even know he was a maine coon, I thought he was black! Despite being over a year old when we found him, he is one of the most loving and sweetest cats I know

are maine coons good with dogs, my 2 dogs are great, they would never hurt the cat, but would the cat be afraid, i have a border collie and a newfoundland border collie mix. im thinking about getting a maine coon
