In South and Central America and even in some parts of North America, Mexico, this is not Taboo but accepted. See this shows Men who are comfortable with themselves and secure. This is no different than the Greeks and Russians whom men openly dance with each other.

The tango began with men practising with each other as there weren’t then enough women “to go round.” This is credible: whilst “... j'aimerais moi-même être à la place d'un des partenaires…” forget any “gay” aspect – the artists here are brothers! This is simply tango dancing; and visual and auditory entertainment; at their best! Beautiful men dancing perfectly to a beautiful rhythm; and with gentle humour added. I smiled from beginning to end.

This show does bring us back to the origins of the tango in the ports of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, where ladies were scarce.

It also supports my opinion that a leader should be able to dance like a follower and vice versa, even if I was just to understand what the partner has to do.

I’m just starting to learn to dance the tango, but I also try to learn and practice all the steps and moves the follower has to make.

Así fue zerleikoko. En un principio fue música de lAS "bajos fondos" y estaba Mal visto que lo bailaran las mujeres y prohibido en los salones. Así que, lo bailaban sólo los hombres y en la calle...
