No not really, I got a mid-end comp, dual-core, 4gigs and gts 250 1gig, I run everything max with 50-55 average fps....

You can have a comp like this for only 400 dollars, it's not like you need to spend 2000 dollar on it.

Frankly, this is the most honest trailer for EVE.

I'd have watched any other, then get disappointed at how much of everything else there is in the game minus fighting.

It was my understanding that there are Many Server's. I believe even Jita is on it's own server.

you're thinking of server nodes, every system is on a seperate server node, but in all the same server so it's all connected

Jita is the only system with its own node.

They have different ''Nodes'', yea its all on one big server that is connected with multiple nodes.

The nodes are seamlessly connected together so something that happens on one end of the universe can be felt on the other.

The game is run by many computers (severs) however it all takes place in one "world" or universe.

More simply put,

All players can see and talk to each other

yup your wrong, it is one massive server, each system is a node on this server, jita can get very busy sometime up to 1000 players, this is due to it being a central trade hub

there is I think like 2 large servers but I always had one there where no others. So one big server

There's many servers in the background, but instead of instancing or sharding the space, they virtualize the given actions of players in space and the environment (NPCs) as pseudo-threads within the server architecture, therefore it's one big virtual server that runs on many hardware servers in the real world. That's why they had to design a unique fiber based network between all their servers and services just to cut down lag between each 'thread' of the virtual server itself.

1. the price, i know this is necessary because of the scale and depth of the game, a free option with limited options would be appreciated.

2. the learning curve is MASSIVE, no its not a learning curve its a learning cliff, if you can get past that then I commend you
