guys I started with muay thai my friends a pro boxer so he works with me. I can tell you I think boxing is harder then muay thai, theres no getting away from those punches plus boxers move like crazy and are so technical. the technicality in boxing can only be known after training. Boxing is not at all easy and throwing a punch is like 1/16 of boxing skills. boxin is also a faster pace then muay thai and mma.

@ThaWomanizer Be realistic. The level of speed and accuracy and technique a pure sport carries in comparison to MMA is far higher than those train just MMA. I do MMA myself but I separate my training and work to perfect each individual art. You can even tell in MMA fights, people who come from pure striking backgrounds, beat the hell outta people who have been in MMA their whole careers.Pat Berry for example has been out-striking just about everyone he fights in the UFC. he came from Kickboxing
@ThaWomanizer Not to mention, Boxing requires far greater cardio than MMA does, not because you're throwing so many punches but because boxing matches are wayyyy longer. Cardio is the toughest thing to build in a fighter and is the most mentally and physically stressful. I have equal respect for boxers, kickboxers and MMA fighters alike. If you're a true fan of fighting, you wouldn't try to cut down the various styles. The only reason I don't do just boxing...is because I like kicking people too

guys I started with muay thai my friends a pro boxer so he works with me. I can tell you I think boxing is harder then muay thai, theres no getting away from those punches plus boxers move like crazy and are so technical. the technicality in boxing can only be known after training. Boxing is not at all easy and throwing a punch is like 1/16 of boxing skills. boxin is also a faster pace then muay thai and mma.

I do MMA myself but I separate my training and work to perfect each individual art. You can even tell in MMA fights, people who come from pure striking backgrounds, beat the hell outta people who have been in MMA their whole careers.Pat Berry for example has been out-striking just about everyone he fights in the UFC. he came from Kickboxing

Cardio is the toughest thing to build in a fighter and is the most mentally and physically stressful. I have equal respect for boxers, kickboxers and MMA fighters alike. If you're a true fan of fighting, you wouldn't try to cut down the various styles. The only reason I don't do just boxing...is because I like kicking people too

Crazy how he is willing to fight Margarito at that where he fought Cotto, Dhoya and everyone else at match catch weight. Facts: Look up interview with Freddy Roach regarding Shane. Freddy refused to fight Shane unless it was catch weight, which was impossible to make.

@TheBoxing247 I never really thought Floyd did anything worthwhile after 2001 Corrales. He could've retired and I probably wouldnt have cared. He's like the Catherine Zeta jones of Boxing, talented, but has done nothing worthwhile in the last decade. I WANT to like him, but I'm really not impressed by his record in the recent years. I wanted him to Fight Vernon Forrest, Paul Williams, and Cotto. I was so disappointed when I didnt see those fights

@TheBoxing247 Hatton's record is padded by low-key English fighters, no one really Elite or well-known, except old Castillo, and lanky Malinagii. Baldomir has like 11 losses, and most of those were before he fought Floyd. Judah has lost to EVERY big name he ever fought, the only big name he beat was Cory Spinks, and that was a rematch after losing his first fight with Spinks. Like I said, not impressed. Floyd has let me down A LOT.

Yes, Baldmoir is terrible. virtually all great fighters have a win-loss ration of 5:1.He also has worse punching power than Floyd! He's got like 15 KO's! Marquez fought above his weight, and is done. After seeing the Diaz 2 fight, he's got nothing left. Shane Mosely couldn't even convincingly beat Mora.

@TheBoxing247 Uhm... no. Vernon Forrest isnt old, he's dead now. Duran had every excuse to lose to Leonard, he was old and overweight, but he was such a freak it worked out. Marquez was older and never had the punching power of Duran, he's a technician, the smaller, slower, weaker technician is gonna lose to the faster, stronger, younger, more weight appropriate Mayweather. Moseley is too slow to fight anyone who lateral movement, that's why Margarito was easy. He just comes forward.

@36THEBEAST Yes, Because I expected a better showing from MArquez during Diaz 2. He didnt seem as crisp as he was back a few years back. The fact that it went to a decsion is still credible, but I expected a stopage. And Marquez in his age is starting to bruise much easier. And I WOULD credit PBF if he actually beat PAcquiao. Pac is small, but unlike the other shorties PBF has fought, Manny is still on a streak. Oh, and being #1 PFP helps Pacquiao be a little different.

PBF takes on people he knows he can win, which I didnt wanna believe, but now it seems to make sense. Floyd is the younger, longer, faster technician, of course he's gonna beat the Marquez. When PBF wanted to fight, Sugar said no, and When Mosley was up for it, Mayweather said no. I'll agree it was kind of both their faults, But Shane asked more frequently than Floyd. @NJNC12 Well, point, but personally I believed before the actual fight that Shane was already Old, and had maybe a generous 20% chance of beating floyd. Did you see how bad he was agaisnt Mora? I mean Shane is done competitively. I never really expected Shane to win, but I wanted them to fight when they were both young. I was so disappointed by the fight, I ACTUALLY FELL ASLEEP. And when I woke up, it was right at the end of the after fight interview. I dont care if PBF wins/loses. Just be fun!
