I always liked to go back to Winterspring. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Truly the best place to take some rest after slaying dragons, monsters and saving the world.

And walking around, listening to this music and snow under your feet, standing on frostsaber rock, looking at this beautiful winter landscape.. well, it was very nice.

They used this music for a ton of zones, but there was something about Winterspring that fit this music so well...the emptiness? The (back then) high level mobs? Definitely one of my favorite zones.

When you were stuck on the ground, the world seemed a lot bigger than it does now. I appreciate being able to get around faster now, but I miss not being able to see from one end of a zone to the other. You take the good with the bad I suppose.

this area i was a ne rogue and a walked taking 2 hours to get to winterspring at lv32 using stealth vanish sprint and willpower to get to this area at that lv. it was funny how my armor was all red by the time i got there and i stayed on the road. also visited moonglade at lv32 right before coming to winterspring.

Winterspring is so amazing... I remember starting the play in late Vanilla, hitting 60-ish here and when BC released... Stepping through the Dark Portal for the first time... So glad they are renovating this zone in Cata. I'm going to roll a Horde character, and level him/her up here again, just to experience my favorite zone again. <3
