So if I understand well, logically, this could be applied to any rendered footage of the same scene...whether its rendered with Mental Ray or Vray or such...?
@VEGETADTX Yes. This is just another renderlayer you have to set up. If you render it in Mental Ray you can at least crank up the anti aliasing to the same level as your beauty shot is. This is good in order not to have too big differences between the two renderlayers. Not sure how that works with vray, or if you can render that in vray anyway. Hope that helps!
@dererce Yes thank you. That's exactly what I asked, however when I thought about it a bit more after posting my question, I realized it was rather stupid :D
If Zdepth itself is actually a black and white map that tells you EXACTLY for EACH SPOT on the picture - where to blur more and where to blur less...so logically it could be applied to any render of the same scene taken from the same camera position and angle :D
@jeanbot When you create the Volume cube it automatically creates the Cube Fog Shader...I only change color to black and use the transparency for the distance of the fog.

what kind of shder are you putting on the cube??? what are the parameters??
