Palomar has some pretty good action for such a small airport. I just went there pretty recently, and I was surprised at the amount of takeoffs and landings for a municipal airport.
@sdflyer28 Yeah. If you leave the airport, turn left on Palomar Airport Road. When you get to El Camino Real (I think), turn left and take the road to the first stop light. At that light, turn left. Go to the first stoplight, and turn left down that street (can't think of the name). Take it all the way down. You'll come to a little roundabout; turn right, and go into the parking lot. Keep going and you'll be there. Sound's complicated, but isn't. It's a great spot as well.
I REALLY cant wait to move there now! I have a flight instructer with an A36 bonanza waiting as well :)
