  • That's right, laugh at the storm troopers busting into people's houses, as if a police state is something to laugh about.

  • Doctor of death???

  • Wow these interviews are intensely biased! The propaganda was strong.

  • LSD's kinda stupid i think. all that shit about discovering yourself, awakening your inner potential and freeing your mind is a bunch of bullshit, acid wil fuck you up point blank!

  • @andrew19vato Unintelligent, closed minded people will never understand.

  • @cannonultra789 to each his own...

  • When did this interview take place? (roughly)

  • Turn on, tune in, drop out. Here is the debate with Gordon he mentioned its very interesting:matrixmasters net/salon/?p=372

  • Timothy Leary looks so happy-- he reminds me of my grandpa. Is that weird? XD

I just wrote a post about him. If you're curious about LSD and other drugs, check out my blog, Furthur. You can find the link in my channel. :)

  • @minna420 Happy....or high???

  • Timothy Leary is great!!!

  • Tim Leary woke up, the other guy is just putting on a show, very passive aggressive too, i feel bad for Tim because when you wake up you feel surrounded by actors, at least in my case.

  • @jeffbriggs1987 I can totally relate to you. I woke up years ago and I feel like I'm surrounded by actors and illusions to.

  • Do you use "the drugs" and all that stuff? wow...

  • god Tom Snyder is terrible

  • Seems like all these interviewers are jelous that Tim can get the ears listening with intent, ((regardless of the side)) the kind of attention that the television shows can never grasp.

  • the great man

  • Poor Mr. Leary. He had so many enemies, and was so widely misunderstood.

  • I still use mushroomsand smoke pot, I have done dmt and lsd numerous times in the past, but let me just say.......his brain has suffered a bit....:) hes a bit wacked

  • i wanna see that interview with gordon

  • @zitianaki I was thinking of posting it, its over an hour long tho.

  • @mcnowski so like a 8 part thing. that would be sweet but maybe too much hassle for you to sit there ripping and uploading :)

    was it good?

  • @mcnowski

    please do. :]

  • @mcnowski

post the interview with gordon, that is.

  • 4:20 hilarious

  • @punkuddha How ironic that it was said at 4:20 hah

  • @CactusGumnut lool ye i noticed that too

  • By the way, the correct answer to the question at 5:40 is "I wouldnt be talking to you asshole"

  • A lot of LSD and a year later and I still think that the man making the interview is an asshole.

  • evrybody who understands the pineal gland i love you

everybody should study the pineal gland fully

    please

all races who understand the pineal race means nothing compared to the things you can learn through you own spirit

  • dickhead interviewer epitomises everything bad about US media

  • I've done LSD 20 times and DMT once and I do not understand why there is so much fear out there? STILL.....

  • @ausfoolia1111 personally, I think there is a conspiracy to keep the secrets of pineal gland from the masses. Because if everyone were to shed their cultural conditioning, and truly awake to their full potential, a paradigm shift would take place, and the established control systems would become obsolete. Reason being, they maintain there dominance by perpetuating fear , were work with the pineal gland is all about perpetuating love. This shift is going to happen regardless.

  • @mcnowski

How is the shift going to happen ? how ?? the system is in place it keeps everyone revolving around it and it always washes over every one's consciousness with it's influence in the media.

Only a spontaneous world wide event can cause enough energy to cause a complete shift

  • @ausfoolia1111 even some of the worst drugs are no where near as bad as people think. experimentation is never a bad thing.

  • I'm terrified of taking DMT.

  • @kermitcintronsucks don't be, and you won't be afraid. ur own fears are ur worst enemy. u should start off small if ur afraid of dmt, shrooms or lsd are good tools to prepare ur mind.

  • Interviewer's a fucking clown

  • From what Iv read, the Merry Pranksters were much more to blame than Dr Tim. Tim shouted the message but the pranksters drove around the States with a bus turning on millions!

  • Speaking to Clones.

  • he's got the smile of a childd

  • lol, Leary always had the best sense of humour. "Drugs. We're on that subject." ... "We're on drugs"

    Classic

  • "Do you ever think about all the kids whose lives got messed up because they listenied to Tim Leary.?"

If your life can be ruined by something as ordinary and plain as listening to what someone says to you, then you are fucked to begin with. LSD won't tip you any further over the edge into duncehood. If you can be sent 'off the rails' by words alone, drugs are the least of your concerns.

  • @diees SSERIOUSLY MAN..IT HURTS THE WAY THIS MAN IS TREATED...

    PEACE MAN

  • Alcohol and nicotine are drugs too? WHAT!?! But the government and media shove those down our throats like they were good for us... I guess those must not provoke free thought.

  • @GokaDeshi sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true, i actually cant get my head around the barrier.....

  • I met Timothy Leary, April 1981, in Santa Monica, and shook hands with him, the same day when I bought a '77 Les Paul Custom.

  • the host is more of a wack than tim

  • tom snyder wasnt all that bad.

  • Tom Snyder is rude. But he always is.

  • yeah what a bastard

  • Interviewer is a douche

  • i know right lol

  • I wonder if that talk-show host thinks he's going down the right path.. I mean, the kids who should be reading Little Red Riding Hood but stayed up late and watched TV instead, I really hope none of them turned out like that obnoxious arsehole.

  • Timothy Leary: The Mr. Rodgers of LSD.

  • In conclusion, which is obvious, the more subversive prohibition becomes, the more un-intended by-products be generated.

Terence McKenna says, "Eighty-five percent of all prescription and over-the-counter drugs can be traced to natural sources," and today the world risks losing its collective botanical traditions as the children of the tropics mortgage their folklore for motorboats and Madonna.

  • We can see the very functioning of this fundamental prohibition towards certain 'drugs' is properly perverse, in so far as it unavoidably gets caught in the reflexive flip by means of which the very defense against prohibited substances generates their excessive prevalence and usage. Direct-tolerance genuinely is by far, much less threatening than the current subversive role of prohibition.

  • Leary knows more than any of those talk show hosts. They're jealous of Leary. He was a leader, and people who got messed up from LSD because they weren't mentally stable and ready. Fuck the ones who got screwed over, LEARY is right and powerful. I love the man! RIP. You're a great man. You were right.

  • happy guy

  • i was about to reply the same thing

  • Ive noticed that in almost every interview these old anchors seem to think its okay to be completely rude and condescending towards Leary...they treat him like a dumb kid...whatever though hes prolly experinced more in his life than they ever could even if they were given hundreds of years to live.

  • I hope that everyone who left that studio was hit, with an enormous impact, at some point by the words Timothy had said.

  • Oh 2 or 3 kids died from jumping off a building while on lsd? Thousands of 18 year olds died in a brutal, hideous war called Vietnam.

  • statisically "the State" kills more human beings then any other cause on the planet, this is fact. Were talking hundreds of millions

  • most consider this a non-related counterpoint, however, its relevant because those that have not come to accept lsd, are those that do not except war as killing, are those that do not except other races as equal human, or our destructive effect on the planet (although i hate to conter-sterotype). typically those that a uneducated aswell.

  • From what Iv read, the Merry Pranksters were much more to blame than Dr Tim. Tim shouted the message but the pranksters drove around the States in a bus turning on millions!

  • @JosephIbrahim88 - lol

  • proper drug education what is needed.

  • Gordon Liddy is a whack job.

  • I always thought Snyder was rather an asshole. I didn't really realize how BIG an asshole he was.

It's also interesting to look back and see how RIGIDLY the media supported the "government line" back in those days.

  • the man making the interview is an asshole

  • Comment removed

  • @crawling25 @crawling25 thats true. I wonder if anyone of those man who interview people really want a answer for their question. Always interrupting people while they try to make their point of view... is all about discredit or confuse the people who is trying to talk... bad people. So..."chance your attitude or change your name" folks, otherwise we gonna kill you all...

  • @crawling25

Yea he is the typical egotistical douchebag

  • @crawling25 He was probably one of the least asshole-ish people who interviewed Leary around that time. One of them...

  • @crawling25 almost everyone that interviewed leary was an asshole and very disrespectful towards him.

how many young people died from alcohol between 1960 and 1980 compared to lsd?

  • @crawling25 oh yeah that's what i wanted to say, too

  • @crawling25 haha was just about to type "snider is an ass" when i saw your comment

  • "drug education is what is needed in this country ..."

  • Its need consciousness...Self Education, interest on what your doing
