I thought that the New York Democrats promised gay marriage if they got control of the state senate which happened last November. We have an Assembly which overwhelmingly passed a gay marriage statute when they knew the Repubican-controlled state senate wouldnt take the bill up. We have a Governor who says he would sign a gay marriage bill. Where is gay marriage ?

We have a Senate Majority Leader, Malcolm A. Smith, who behaves more like a Republican. Sad.
