Thanks for keeping it real! I used to own horses (want to own again in a few years but I'm in university). I had an Arabian who had huge disrespect issues. This translated into in-saddle issues. I was quite young at the time and due to unfortunate circumstances, didn't have anyone to help me or recognize the problem. I wish I would have known then what I know now and maybe our relationship would have been better. Thanks for the advice for the future, you are awesome!
This has been so incredibly helpful to me. I just got my first horse and she is definitely testing me, especially with regard to her keeping her head as high as possible (something she didn't do with her previous owner).
