After the first world war , in which many thousands of working class British boys were conscripted and died, a memorial was erected in Whitehall. They called it "The Cenotaph" and it was to pay respect to all ranks and services who gave their lives. The protestors on this day sprayed Graffiti on this memorial. How proud you all must be of yourselves. How nice to have the freedom to demonstrate in a democratic country. Ignorant fools.

It was, too - they were persistently using tactics which could only have been designed to rile the protestors... whether in the hopes of making them look bad on TV, or just because they fancied a fight themselves, I don't know.
