rolandska2 has a good point. Our country can only support so many people with our jobs, resources and public programs. If you care about yourself and your family's future, immigration numbers need to go down. It's not about the race/ethnicity of the immigrants - it's the fact that they're illegal! They're taking from our communities without giving back the same things legal citizens do. It sucks us dry when they get free healthcare, take jobs away from legal citizens, and don't pay taxes.

Let me first say that I'm about as socially liberal as they come...but the term "African American" is idiotic on SO many levels.

1. Not all black people are from Africa.

2. What's the PC term for a black man of African descent who lives in France or Germany?

3. A lot of "black" people have a lot of other races mixed into their heritage (Tiger Woods)

4. I'm white. No one calls me European American.

5. Not everyone from Africa is black, and i don't see you calling Dave Matthews "African American."
