I think the Umbrella Chronicles retold how it actually all happened. As far as this game is concerned, it could have been either one, with the Lisa Trevor storyline and the fact that Jill, Chris, Barry and Rebecca all got out of the mansion alive being the plot points that mattered.

i think its where you either have an invisible zombie that follows you through every room OR its a zombie you can see... but is strewn with grenades and if you shoot him he explodes and its game over. he also follows you through rooms. scary!

Some zombies are replaced by runner zombie (probably Forest from BRAVO team) .The problem is:he is fully packed with grenades.Meaning,you shoot him,you're dead!He also has a grenade on his mouth so you can't use a dagger.You'll have to run away from him,which maybe a problem,because he runs too!

According the the "Mail to the Cheif" file in RE2, all 4 remaining STARS members survived. That is of course impossible in game. I personally belive Chris best ending is the canon story since Wesker dies and in Jill's best ending, he gets away clean. Also in RE:CVX, Wesker hates Chris and said that he had died before.
