I'd like to see Choo Choo, Gore, & his bloodsucker Goldman Sachs business partners take the phenobarbitol/ applesauce mixture, wash it down with Vodka then wrap their heads in Saran wrap.
The world would be a much better place without those Corporate criminals around helping to destroy the working/middleclass.
I don't buy into the phony Right vs Left as the same Corporate & special interests groups bought them both long ago.
The wackos are getting crazier and Republican leaders are encouraging them.
"Don't Retreat, Instead RELOAD!" -- Sarah Palin
"Take Steve Driehaus, for example, he may be a dead man. He can't go home to the west side of Cincinnati." -- Republican House Minority Leader, John Boehner.
"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous . . . Thomas Jefferson told us, 'Having a revolution every now and then is a good thing.' We are at the point of revolution." -- Michele Bachmann (R-MN)
The tea party movement must come to an end. It is the poison destroying the good image of America. These people are not patriots, they only cling onto their ignorance. Never would the Founding Fathers expect the people of their country to turn out to be this stupid. They have abandoned their roots, and have abused their party's credibility that were gained from the extraordinary work by Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt: the TRUE Republicans.
Who still has healthcare? Hmmm. Teachers, Firemen, Military, Police, City, County, State, and Federal Employees. And the real lobbyists, the Insurance Companies, and the Doctors. Want to keep it that way.
Michelle Bachmann you stated two months ago "We have to today make a covenant, slit our wrists".........................well Michelle we are all still waiting for you to start cutting.
911 There is new petition out by bold progressives that needs signatures. It has 120,000 and they want 150,000. I have the link to it in the comment section of my profile. Sign it and then pass it on!
Good News! AARP & the American Medical Assn have just announced that they're supporting the House health reform bill.
You think she has a pretty face? Man, all I see is hate. She's very close to insane as well. Isn't her nusband a shrink or something? I guess he figures ANYTHING to keep her out of the house. Can you imagine living with the bitch?
I hate to say it, but even John Stossel, bright as he is, was suckered into this kind of anti-healthcare reform nonsense. He did some stupid-ass 20/20 report a while ago on "government health insurance", talking about Canada's system. He said some experts call the public option and healthcare bill a "bridge to national health insurance." Oh, god. Now Stossel is on Fox! He'll surely be poisoned by their disgusting far right-BS. I think it was a bad move overall.
Someone needs to find Bachmann's medication already! Quick! Before she says something else ridiculous.
What "lessons of August"? The only 'lesson' I learned is just how powerful the Republican and right-wing indoctrination of voters can be. How crafty they are at making people do their bidding, asking dumbass questions at townhalls or just plain disrupting them and yelling b/c of misinformation. Certainly, nowadays the polls are more even, but back in August, most people wanted it.
God, the Democrats really suck at getting things done, esp. this. If this were the Republicans, this shit would've rammed through in a month!! I mean, look how fast they got the Patriot Act passed. And yet the Democratic majority can't stop worrying about every little problem and potential conflict and just won't get this thing passed already. And idiot rebels like Lieberman threaten to filibuster. Seriously, grow some fucking balls, Democrats!! Do you wanna be ousted in 2010?
The longer you Dems draw this out in Congress, the more time the obstructionists get to keep it from passing and potentially killing it, a repeat of 93. The faster you pass it, the sooner Obama can sign it, and the sooner the GOP can focus on OTHER stuff to bitch about, not something as important as this anymore. Maybe then the GOP will focus on their OWN healthcare proposals and actually show us what they got, instead of being the party of no, for once.
The only lobbyists worth mention are the ones from the Health Care Industry itself! You know, the ones who put tens of millions of dollars into the campaign funds of politicians to ensure that they have no competition in the form of a government option.
What a lying sack of shit she is. The interviewer isn't much better, letting her lies slide right on by with any challenge.
With "leadership" like this, it's no wonder the United States is fucked.
Seeing as how she herself is receiving HUGE campaign donations from the insurance lobby, I'm not sure why she slipped in that little comment about lobbyists unless she just thought it sounded good.
And yes, the media has turned into a bunch of softies. Partly because they can't get interviews if they're too tough (Congressional leaders usually want to see the questions ahead of time), and partly because they're corporate-owned and don't want to cover issues that might disrupt business interests
how many rich or hired unemployed people show up this time. these are not people who work. so many people want jobs wouldn't risk it. why should any of us care about uncaring rich folk who have great insurance? fighting a gov plan thats not for them. Duh for poor and unemployed you have to apply for the public option like you do Medicaid & food stamps not universal didn't realize how dumb people are just racist rich people who don't have to work on a week day.while we work hard to feed our kids.
no critical thinking, no logic, yet not a stutter and a face to die for... that's all it takes in this day and age to get to any position of prominence in north america
"that message was very loud". i think ms bachman has forgotten how democracy works. just because a voice is loud doesnt mean that it is the majority. in fact, most of the time, the louder a voice is the less popular it is.
if a voice is popular, then it doesnt have to be loud. it is the crazy fringe that needs to be loud and act like a mob when things don't go their way. it is sad that they're getting so much air time.
isn't it ironic that according to bachman, the voice of people is no health care reform, which is exactly the voice of the lobbyists. funny how those lobbyists still exist when the people is on their side.

No, wait, she defends private insurance (that both republicans and democrats agree is a broken system) because God told her to.

Stossel is still a good guy.
He's not a social conservative, nor a foreign policy conservative, but he is right to be skeptical of government power.
He's really more like Ron Paul or Judge Andrew Napolitano than like O'Reilly or the other hawks at Fox.
I think he's going where the free market fans are.
I hated Bush, and when he was in power I loved Keith Olbermann.
But now that Obama is in power, I watch a lot of Fox. I just hold my nose when they are hawkish or religious.
