  • mute math is amazing along with the band Annasay. I discovered Annasay on itunes recently, but they have quickly become a favorite too. Listen to the Annasay song "Winter Air" on itunes

  • You Tube has Fucked up with this new policy. Its a great song I suggest any transformer fan to download it via Morphius, or any other free download serves. The song does grow on you.

  • How can you guys listen this song, the sound is off??? (says youtube)

  • I own the album

  • Black lab's track should have made soundtrack. Something tells me it was more about the money.

What bugs the fook out of me is that bay wouldn't even put the mute math tune in the movie as end the credits song.

  • wow mute math is really getting into playing songs for movies!!

  • this version deas not reflect the awesome nature of the movie which is a fucking Metal Battle. Lion's version ruled snd still does!!!

  • awesome song! :_p

  • 1986 version is better.

  • this is my type of song...

techno-rok! B-) IMO, this is BEYOND black lab.

  • really?

  • theres a better version of this... i heard it somewhere its like a harder rock version i WISH i knew who it was. it was amazing, it sounded like linkin park but im sure it wasnt

  • the band is called "Deceptibots"

  • Get at me all of you who are weary and feel lost!

    great band & song btw

    holler

  • wow thw beat is cool

  • their other version of this song is better

  • i thi k black labs version is way better

  • wOw ThIs SOng Is FreaKing GoOd.....

  • I was expecting more from mute math... oh well.

  • the beat is cool

  • Hell Yeah MuteMeth kicks ass!

  • Hmm... have lost a lot of respect for Mute Math.

  • dang what cant darren king do? he can even play an amazing drum part to the freakin transformers theme song, that takes talent.

  • Th-the TF theme is supposed to be EPICLY EPIC! Not some jazz-wannabe-techno thing. :C Out of the Mute Math, Black lab, and Decitibot, Deciptibot wins hands down.

  • 0:53-1:08 best part

  • So rite

  • this verson sucks big time

  • ugh you wish, this band is the best, check out typical by mutw math, the best song ever

  • optimus prime vs bad gay terminator 2 who will win??

  • NOW this is nice, i listened to the black lab version...turn it off after 20 seconds. THIS I can listen for ages

  • uuh, ok, im in no mood for argument, but OW! go mutemath!

  • i wish that was music video on this song man..

  • is this the music at the end of the movie?

  • this ones ok...but i like the black lab on better.....

  • Movie and song are good!

  • nice song

  • like this new electronica version

  • I like BOTH versions to be honest.

  • I think this song is AWESOME!! Because I love Transformers mostly Bumblebee is my favorite transformer. Love it!

  • There was another theme song. Same lyrics but not the instruments. Anyway, other than that, THAT WAS COOL!

  • SICK!!

Will you people please stop comparing this to the Lion version. If the creators wanted a clone of the 80s version they would have gotten Dream Theater or Dragonforce to cover it, not MuteMath.

You want Lion? GO LISTEN TO THEM! Quit hating on good music.

  • Came back to listen to this sad, sad version, to have a laugh.

It's just so weak. If I were good enough to be more than a critic, I'd start off with this whole song as it is, a base, & re-work it. Something can be done with this...

But then again I'd keep looking back to the Lion version which is a masterpiece, for inspiration. It'd be a rip-off.

The theme was done in the cartoon and enhanced for the animated flick. Anything else is a copy of a copy.

His singing leaves me wanting exposition.

  • tsujanryo u obviously do not Know what music is MUTEMATH IS DA BEST

  • Awesome song but slow..

    of the transformers part singing.

  • This sounds like the old themes and is better then the ohter one

  • The lion version for the 80 is much better

  • i have the movie soundtrack

I would have to say the original verson of this song is a lot better

  • mute math = win

    transformers = win

obviously this song is win^2 or as i like to say "WINWIN"

  • they probably couldn't care less about what you think.

  • buddy fag?

which one am I, a buddy or a fag?

  • lawl that's a good one :P.

Stupid to argue about this. I don't like this techno stuff but i still love the movie so ye.

  • tight drums nice

  • this was on the movies soundtrack

  • i agree that most bands today are rubbish and rise against would make an interesting theme, but i quite like mutemath.

  • yeah mute math isn't at all this generic stuff that you guys are talking about... just go watch their DVD or listen to their CD and you'll see what I mean

  • pretty much agree with you there man...i hate ppl who dont like change...progression is the key to great music....sickens me when ppl also hate a bands music cuz it dont sound like what they did 3 albums ago....those ppl but me so much...btw love mute math great stuff

  • rise against is an awesome band, but they're not gonna do a better job than mute math when it comes to making a theme song for a scientific-type series/movie.

  • i just think that how they made it a ll techno....is like wtf....but i know...bcuz white lion did it back in the 80s n it wass alll hair meatlish....bcuz of their time.....but still woukld like to other options...

  • Techno fits better. Its a film about robots and technology and stuff.

  • Sorry Rise, White Lion and Lion are NOT the same band. Lion did the 1986 TF theme, not White Lion.

  • this song fits the overall feel Michael Bay was going for. It would be inconsistent and out of place to put the others in the soundtrack.

  • i'm addicted to thi8s song, my myspace, megatron, you'll see this song there

  • the drums are sick in this song

  • Never knew Mute Math were into the electronica.

  • check their song Reset. it's off the hook

  • yeah they play it on adult swim some times

  • that song is very tight, i was jsut listening to it lol

  • damn such amazing production! Mutemath kicked this song in the ass. that arpeggiated synth is ridiculous!

  • nice song

  • mutemath is awesome...the distortion of their voices is so cool!!!

  • Awesome, I like this :}

  • I like the Mutemath version a lot I think maybe even more then the other one.

  • they both are good.the black labs version is a little more generic with a little less imagination...if you like the black lab version better just listen to that one =)

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooool

  • twice!? AWESOME.

  • I have the transformers album. The music is badass! 6/5

  • optimus prime is hot

    bumblebee is baby cute

    megatrons...um....ooooooookkkkkkkk

  • Kick ass beat!!!!!

  • This version of the strong puts the original to shame.

  • I suppose since it's an actual song.

  • Hey, the original from the first movie was an actual song too!

  • We were speaking of the actual cartoon theme which now that I go back to it, wasn't very good.

  • I might not be as good but the nostalgia factor really weighs in when you go back and watch old transformers stuff.

  • meh I still liked the old classic music better.

THis one sounds weird as hell to me.

  • Yeah I think it shoulda been way shorter and they shoulda just made it a free download.

  • i've been searching for this version of the theme song... thank you thank you thank you

  • what's the best aniamtion software for windows vista? beacause i want to make moving animation videos.

  • I suppose Flash Animator.

  • Maya is good too.

  • this is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Best theme for a show ever created. i like the original better though

  • This is one of the most generic songs on the internet. I've heard nothing new in this song that I haven't heard in over a dozen fan video game remixes... There is nothing 'metal' about this song music-wise of sound-wise. it is far too subdued and repetative.

  • Who said it had to be metal?

  • The tone of the song and the style it uses. Quite frankly the only things 'transformers' this song really fits is maybe "All Hail Megatron" which is basically about the decepticon's molestation of earth. If anything, the tone of the song suggests this band really hates the concept of transforming robot heroes and it shows.

  • All I'm asking for is to hear The Touch. That would make the movie for me.

  • was anyone els pissed off that this amazing song wasn't even in the damn movie??? i waited to the end of the movie to hear this song insted i heard linkin park. and i can say this with all honesty linkin park sucks NOW, before they were god, now they sound generic mute math is the new LP

  • hahahaha, i know what u mean. my bf dragged me to this movie and all I hoped for was to hear a little bit of mute math. so i looked fwd to the end, and then linkin park came on! I was disappointed!

  • could u fist me?

  • im i the only the one that thinks the transformers movie wasnt that good cause the transformers didnt look like themselves they looked more like robots with wires all over the place. some action sequences i didnt even understand what was going on.

  • Love this song. Very cool and hip, while keeping the iconic lines and verses from the original.

  • if anybody wants to now the drummer's name its Darren King...

  • Considering it's the transformers theme, this is pretty damn good......

  • i thoght they used LP for the movie theme u know what ive done

  • They did. That was the band DJ's idea to use What I've Done in the film.

  • WOOO this song rocks!

  • I don't understand why everyone hast to compare the old theme song to the new one. They were made about 20 years apart, of course the songs going to sound different.

And to everyone who's freaking out over this song, get over it, it's just a song.

  • I LOVE MUTE MATH!

  • sweet song

  • haha good drummin

  • at least this has some originality compared to black labs version i mean its almost exactly the same... this is something new...i wouldnt listen to black labs version because its crappier than the original if it doesnt have anything really new other than maybe some different vocals and effects why listen to it at all...just go back to the original ...sorry im ranting and it might be confusing ugghh sorry i hope ya'll get what im saying..awesome song

  • its cool

  • Deceptibot is better.

  • dude i heard someone jagging off in the backround

    lol

  • Darren King eats decepticons for breakfast. He uses his drumsticks to cut them up to fit in his mouth.

  • Mute Math is amazing.... there a lot different thats what I love about them. Some people just cant see that. and its really sad.

  • Cool I love the begining of the song.

  • you suck

  • i bet yu LOVED the Linkin Park version... now take a sip from this nice steaming hot cup of 'Shut the fuck up."

  • asshole

  • I'm a bastard actually, but by all means, rag on at me because my taste in music differs to yours and that I consider myself a huge Transformers fan and this song isn't even worthy off the originals from the G1 cartoon nor the movie version.

  • sorry i was just in a bad mood

  • That wasn't directed at me? I wholly apologize...

  • its no big deal

  • Ya' mama...

  • let him speak! hes telling truth!

  • i think i agree with you, it needs to be a strong song not this slow

  • Hate to break it do ya mate, but LP never did a rendidtion of The Transformers Theme Music. You must be thinking of the one done by Deceptabot.

  • yeah... but its in the soundtrack =3

  • Well, whoever did it... please tell them not to do it again...

  • i remember this song on the transformer-armada ps2 game

  • Wow they make the song sound semi-good. But mute math really does kick major butt tho.

  • mute math is one of the best live shows ever and Transformers are not real however darren king and mute math are real and they are transforming music as we know it!

  • wtf is a deceptacone? lol, really mute math is a awesome band tho

  • Ricsic, this song doesnt even touch the surface on how good this band is..the Drummer, darren king, is sick man..

  • meh

  • the drummer is a fuckin machine.check the band out, they're great

  • best band ever...end of

  • So.

    This "song" should be burnt.

Then set out with a shovel, and then thrown into a vat of Coca Cola.

I'd say listen to Black Lab's version, but it's only slightly better.

What I will say though to all you people is go watch the original animated series, then the film.

    Now.

  • you say that the Black Lab version is better...

... you and your opinion can go to hell.

  • I said slightly better. It's not a great cover, not nearly as good as the original cartoon movie theme song by Lion.

But I do stand by my opinion that Black Lab's is better than this.. this.. stuff they call music.

  • BLACK LAB AND LION ARE GREAT YOU SHOULD HEAR THE Deceptibot VERSION

  • You're an idiot if you think the Black Lab version is better. It sounds like a crappy hair-metal band attempted to "get with the times" and make their guitars a little harder while the singer stayed just as crappy as ever and produced what can only be described as mall-metal. At least mutemath pushes their music to not sound like the same, tired old stuff.

  • This version sounds like some crappy 'new age' band tried to make transformers hip and trendy for a bunch of stoners. If anything, I've heard these notes and instruments all in this way in over a dozen Overclocked Remix electronic songs. It is no more original then paper.

  • id like to see u come out with something like this. stoners??? how th fuck is this for stoners because mute math has a new sound?? i bet u like hanna montanna. do us a favor and slap yourself CLOSE MINDED FUCK

  • Dethformer Came a rollin'!!!

  • heh. Dethklok. they're a metal parody band. but itd be funny to see them do this.

  • emo my ass.

    watch their drummer.

    best shit you'll ever see.

  • darren king is definitely one of my favorite drummers up there with jon theodore and jason mcgerr.

  • these guys are nothing emo.there concerts are more entertaining and "harcore" then the metal crap out there. These guys are the most energetic live band but they still keep the music sounding good at live shows.

  • thank all of you for agreeing.

first time i ever saw them i didn't even go for them.

now i can't get enough of them.

  • haha, same. Saw them opening for Matchbox Twenty, they rocked

  • it only takes one show.

  • makes you wanna go watch the movie!.... in fact i think i'll do that now! lol

  • weird :[

  • can I come too? :P
