  • love the videos :)

  • Which software should I use for this Mixer?

  • @ChannelTheVillain traktor is good for it, if you have cdj2000s use recordbox i think still.

  • do you guys have a uk store?

  • @drumkiter Unfortunately we don't.

  • @agiprodj If you ever do I thinl I would buy from you!

  • I am thinking about buying this mixer and was wondering how good the crossfader is for scratching? and would you recommend buying this over the pioneer djm 700?

  • @alexhamaliuk The crossfader is realy good, you can compair this with the 900 Nexus but less than half the price so is better than the 700, 800 of course

  • Hey Ty, i Just made the Switch From Serato To Traktor. So Far I Love it. Ive been really interested in Getting a Pioneer DJM-800 then i heard about this Mixer Being Traktor Certified, A couple questions i have:

    -Post Fader Effects?

-How Sharp is the Curve Compared to a Pioneer Mixer?

-Traktor CoOperation? How does it show up in the Settings Of Traktor?

Thanks I appreciate the input! The videos on this Product are dope! Denon Has Stepped up!

  • hehehe youd better stand for that best price policy, because ill sell my 400's and get this mixer and a pair of CDJ-900's (not decided on the 3700, mixed reviews so far)

  • So the entire mixer is midi compatible? What I mean is all the upfaders and knobs and what not can control a software if mapped properly?

  • is it in store yet?!?!?!

  • @Trad3st0rm SUre is. We have them in stock!

  • Prices in Europe about 899-999€ THIS MIXER IS OFF THE HOOK

If the Quality is as good as at the 1700 A&H and Pio will burst in tears!

  • I have a Roland Fantom G that has V-link! Can I connect it with this mixer and do i get any control? Or its just for edirol v mixers?

  • Great review! Thanks

  • Thanks for the review Ty :D

  • wow they didn't completely steal the look of the djms at all.

    ...

  • Great review, this thing is nice!

  • Thanks uptown

  • Ty, this video is great, Very informative overview... But I could barely hear the music... Pleeeeease have the music a lil bit louder when you demo the effects and the rest of the features on this mixer . Im very interested in what this mixer has to offer & Im probably going to to buy it... Thanks.

  • Hey gilboogie - we'll have the sound as a separate feed in future videos so you can hear what's happening. This is a fantastic mixer !

  • Thanks for the response. I felt like a pain in @S$ for even asking!!! LOL!!

  • Don't feel bad Gil - someone else commented as well. We wern't pushing any kind of audio of significance through to demo anything in this overview. More to follow...

  • sick soundquality

  • Looks good, didn't they bring out a new Mixer before Christmas

  • ty, i know you're not a scratch DJ but how is the x-fader for scratching? i'm not a turntablist by any means but i like to do a little scratching and my current mixer has a little lag which makes cutting difficult and some scratches like crabs are impossible

  • Hey Scoot - The FlexFader, as I understand it, is a derivative of the Infineon fader. There are some contour controls to make adjustments. No, I'm not a scratch DJ, but to me, the cut seemed steep enough for some basic chrips, flares or crabs.

  • You probably meant to say "Infinium" Fader (Which is being used in the Rodec Scratchbox as well as in Mackies D2 (Pro) D4 (Pro) Mixers - But No, It's not a derivative the Infinium is a contact free linear sensorfader where as the FlexFader (according to a Denon Manual that is) is a VCA Fader! Anyway nice and informative video!

  • Thanks for the heads up SOS. Mackie killed the d.X Pro mixers. I must have got my information confused back when the first Flex Fader was released in a DENON Mixer. Good information for sure. It's amazing the amount of technology that goes into the various models of faders.

  • Nice job man. I always love your videos.

  • Thanks ccalson!

  • Needs more midi-assignable buttons like the DDM4000

  • There are 4 infinite rotaries with push down, 4 function buttons and those all have 4 'pages' each. That's just the dedicated MIDI section. The rest of the mixer is MIDI assignable as well. We'll be shooting that video very soon - the way DENON implemented the MIDI on this mixer is just amazing.

  • Still not much, I counted about 50 midi assignable buttons on the DDM4000, and about 22 rotary knobs athat are midi assignable as well.

  • This thing is real nice. Cheaper alternative to the 1700 if you don't want the 2 effects processors it looks like.
