Nice gameplay i have it on a sony vaio intel pentium 2 , ati premium graphics and 4 gb ram but my laptop crashes ( it gos after playing in sleep mode and than if i want it to start " press enter to start windows " on ablack screen)
@philhalo66 wen its overclocked as shown in this video.. fan is at 85% speed, but wen im playing any game, i leave it at stock clocks.. with 70% fan speed, temp dont go high with stock clocks..
@tibrake mine is overclocked to 850MHz and it never breaks 60C but that might be because mine is the sapphire Toxic edition with significantly better cooling than the reference one.
@tibrake Lol considering you call it "overclocking the voltage" i'm going to assu, you dont know shit. i have the toxic edition from sapphire those are higher binned chips so they can overclock further.
@philhalo66 toxic edition which is pre-overclocked to 780mhz which is just 30mhz ahead of the regular 4870 that i have and "as u claim" to have different cooling system but is still the same chip.. if u didnt know.. some people do overclock the voltage with watercooling.. if u overclocked with CCC or msi afterburner, then show me stable performance (dont really care abt temps) with 850mhz, since u know how to make and post videos on youtube..
@tibrake i cant upload I'm running of my neighbors wireless, and its not called overclocking the voltage its called overvolting. since voltage does not run at a clock frequency. and i know a guy who runs his 4870 at 900MHz on stock voltages. so don't presume to tell me about my own card.
@1998yab interesting.. i guess the wiiu will still be behind the nextgen xbox and ps with just the graphics section.. everything else it still stands out by itself as always...=)
@tibrake they could use the 5000 series... ive been looking up rumors and the point to the 5000 series... i doubt the ps4 and next box if they come out next year will use anythign higher than a 6000.... the 7000 series is still coming out. it will be behind but more like ps2, GC and Xbox when they were really close
I'm going to buy the same processor to work with my HD Radeon 6770, is 6770 better than yours or just below because i have heard that it's the 2nd number that counts?
@Games4LifeSWE many say the 6770 is equal to the 5770 and ive compared the 4870 with the 5770.. they perform very close to each other... the only major difference is that the 5770 and 6770 has dx11 support... which is not important in skyrim's case coz its dx9 supported game...so expect a little bit higher than this fps shown on this video..
thnx alot for help but i still dont get it how to change the game resolution , i cant make it full screen and am not sure how i can get this skyrim options @ 0:18
i've got high all reflects 8xAA 8xAF high high medium medium and distances maxed...some around 25-40 fps outside...45-60 inside caverns, houses...4870 1gb q8200 2.8ghz 4 gbram ddr2 800 does it work according to configuration ? please help , I had some gpu issues lately !
How are you showing the fps in the upper left corner? I'm using the console for PC version, and typing in "tdt" and "ToggleDebugText", but nothing shows. I'm in 800x600 mode at the moment.
@Robindahoodz the default fov in skyrim is 75%.. i tweaked it up to 80%...
and i have a gaming mouse with dual lazer precision and the stupid mouse smoothing makes it inaccurate to play ... as for the vsync.. laggy mouse input as well..poor programming.. dont blame me on tweaking to make it better and accurate...
@DaHouseCleaner my screen is a 1280x1024 LED HDTV and skyrim runs in a small box and the only way i can make it bigger is by changing my screen resolution and that takes all of the detail away =S
@photardshop start the game through the launcher and enable "show all resolutions" checkbox in the settings and also uncheck "windowed mode" and choose ur resolution.. it should be fixed...
@tibrake yea i messed arround with it and soon figured it out :P thanks for the help :) this should help some other people i have seen with the same problem
Anyone who thinks they should be getting more FPS should overclock their CPU. But do not if you don't know how. I've read higher CPU clocks(especially on Intel CPUs) improve performance quite a bit.
@tibrake Yeah, I've tried pretty much every thing I can. Updated drivers, reinstalled the game, validated and defragged the files via Steam, made tweaks on the .ini file, nothing works for me, I think it's a bug.
@Larvemannenz001 you got the same problem as me i got a six core amd processor with 3,7 ghz 16gb ram and a amd shappire radeon hd 6970 2 gb and i get really bad fps i dont get it i can play battlefield 3 on max settings o_o D: and yeah bethesdas stupid lousy programing :(
@Larvemannenz001 There are some mod's on the Skyrim nexus , who allow you to get better FPS...
Like me , Vanilla i could hardly run it on High , now whit some mod's I can play on ultra and i even use mod's to make visuals even BETTER then they already are
I always thought my pc wont handle skyrim but looks like it can :) i have 4870 x2 and AMD Phenom II X4 810 but can i run with the same fps as you? your cpu is better :/
@PolArbezcukru well.. it depends on what res u play in.. but ive seen dual cores handling the game quite well... im sure u can play on high settings.. but dont know abt ultra settings... either way.. skyrim is a console port... so if an xbox360 can handle the game.. so can a 4870 with a quad core...=)
@PolArbezcukru dude the 4870 X2 Still among the top cards. 3rd best and 4 tiers higher than the 4870. But no DX11 and super power hog, But for an upgrade you should be looking at HD 6990, HD 5970, GTX 580, GTX 590. Or stay on par and get DX11 with a 6970
@PolArbezcukru My friend is using an intel dual core e8400, HD 4870 1gb with 4gb ram, 1920x1080 with view distance nearly maxxed and he is running 50-60 fps constant. You'll have no problem with your setup running this. Any fps issues out there atm is due to Bethesda needing to patch the game. If you haven't bought the game yet due to not knowing if you'll be able to run it, get it.. you won't be disappointed. While a bit buggy its a great game!
@Nomad90full yup Iv been running all games with 4870 on max since I got the card (2009) skyrim is the first game to beat that record..... as well as La noire....
