Yang Wei did well on this event, but I don't think he deserved gold, but silver instead. Tomita flowed really well in his routine (though Yang Wei did too) and his landing was perfect. I don't know; maybe I'm missing something here.
Still, I'm happy my two favorite gymnasts got a medal. :)
u cant be 100% straight. no one else who competed during the championships had straighter legs. he had the most technical challenged routine on the parallel bars.
I hope you know that he bends his legs to swing or else he'll run into the ground. And I'm not sure what video you're looking at, but it sure isn't this one. You can't even tell if his legs are bent unless he's swinging below the bars....
Hiroyuki Tomita lost to this guy? the judges are drunk, Tomita had a 6.5 difficulty with perfect execution and landing, Yang Wei had a 6.6 difficulty with 1 execution error and not a nailed landing.
thanks for sharing. is it just me or...well if you type male, chinese, china and gymnast in any combination when looking for male chinese gymnasts I get nothing on Youtube.
It's the choice of the video posters to offer search words. If they pick shitty search words, you'll never find the videos. Try searching "artistic men's gymnastics" and the year you want to watch.
Tomita was robbed! I mean, Yang Wei is a great gymnast, but on this particular event, he shouldn't have gotten the gold.

Anyways, I think the Chinese team was simply amazing in the last Olympics! I hope they succeed again in the upcoming Olympic games.
