im almost certain it was for the physics problem....since adding in air resistance adds a lot more to the problem....it was just an example more than likely and is just to keep it overly simple...much like the clown with 2 balls dropping them

I know arctan can be graphed. It's not the most common function ever, though. And if you want to argue about technicalities, Sherlock, why don't you look a little closer at the white board? Those factors after the 'break it down' and the equations the physics teacher writes down are complete BS. I suppose there are a few technical anomalies. We tried to be as faithful to the original song (rhyme-wise) as possible. It's a parody for crying out loud, not an instructional video!

It really isn't THAT big of a deal. AP tests are hell enough to prepare for, so if they choose to devote a week after the test and finals to something a bit more relaxing than these tests, then I don't see why you have such a problem with it.
