Yet if you were a true "person" as you say then you're NOT in the true Advaita tradition. After all, wasn't it good 'ol Nisargadatta(along with others)who stated to the seekers "you're not a person and you're not the doer!"
"I have developped some capacity to access the unconditioned mind" sounds quite dualistic to me. Who is that "I" who access the unconditioned mind ? Is there really such an "I" ?
There is no mind! ... there is no door, no doer, no path, no goal. all there is is awareness-consciousness-affinity ... the eternal stateless state, simply Being... Oneness appears to be in search of Oneness, and that's the imaginary dream-universe. have a beer!
I would say that though the intellectual finite mind CAN be useful in bringing us to THE DOOR still, the mind alone cannot OPEN that door. Something MORE is needed, RE-cognition of SOURCE. I like how Peter addresses APPARENT mutual exclusivity here. The mind may THINK the two are mutually exclusive UNTIL it is shown otherwise. Duality is EXCLUSIVE whereas Non Dualism is ALL INCLUSIVE. The Universe universes.
Living is all there is. It includes this cute story being told as a man who assumes there are people. How sweet.
This is just like a peacock popping feathers, a wave crashing onto the head of a ball chasing dog, and the grass growing.
No people. No Peter Fenner working with any "they" and no energy separate from supernovas and bullet casings.
