well i wont argue with it.. because it was really a tough round to score.. its a true swing round. if i could score this round 10-10. i would, but a round can be given to only 1 fighter & rounds are not allowed to be scored as even or 10-10. like the actual fight.. judges are told that they should not score rounds as even they only have to give it to 1 fighter..

Pacman won this round not just by confidence. but also by aggression & harder shots.. the vid is not that clear but you can hear the impact of pacquiao's punches & the crowd is also shouting for it. becoz there is more thud in pacquiao's blows. According to Compubox Pacquiao landed 13 punches while Marquez landed 12 but i gave it to Pacquiao not based on the compubox. but based on harder shots & aggression. Peace... :-)

You obviously have never been inside a ring before. Each punch that lands takes a toll over time. In the 9th round both fighters are weaker than they were in the 1st and their faces/bodies have developed bruises by this time. Most of it is probably not noticeable but I assure you they can feel it. Muscles start to ache and each punch that you take makes you weaker because it takes a lot of strength and energy to defend against someone punching you. Punches that land take even more energy.

Round 9 Pacman came back, and won the round easily. He landed clean blows much more consistently, many times counter-punching.
I still don't know why he doesn't throw the hook under Marquez's high left.
