@pfaccioxx Because it would be a licensing nightmare. This game isn't that hard to play with a good FAQ and a DS isn't region locked. So, you can still play it if you want.

@pfaccioxx Tatsunoko vs Capcom had far, far few characters, all creations of one studio, many of which were never licensed in the U.S. Or if they had been licensed it had been so long the license most likely expired so highly likely it was much easier to release that game.

Jump ultimate stars is the sequel, which is much better, and it is in English If you use a flash card such as an R4 or an Acekard. I havea legit copy as well, if you guys are gonna complain about piracy...

I have Jump Ultimate Stars (NOT ON A FLASH CART), 100% completed, I have completed story mode, unlocked all characters, upgraded all characters, won all the J-Arena challenges etc.. So I may get this game because this game seems pretty different with the fact that you can make your own combos like Yugi + Bobobo, you can use help komas etc..

It will never be released outside of Japan, because unlike the manga represented, they're all represented by different licensing companies...the only reason this is possible to begin with in Japan is because SJ owns all the characters.

SSBB had Snake because Konami pretty much begged Sakurai, and Sonic won a contest...well, Geno won, but licensing issues prevented him from showing up.

Tl;dr copyright infringement makes this game impossible overseas.

Yea, the DS is Region Free, just like all of Nintendos handhelds, the games if they are from Japan, WILL be in Japanese, unless it has an option to change the language, also this game will NEVER be released in the US because of liscencing(sp?) issues. Jump Ultimate Stars will be released soon too

More like until 2007 because most charaters are already showed in the US Shonen Jump issues and the chances of showing a new series is quite large. I have the latest issue of Shonen Jump and they showed a new series called Reborn. So I bet that this game could come to the US in english version in 2007.
