  • Where did you download this?

  • @Creator9540 i have the original CD.

You should be able to find it online though. Google it. Virtual-On Cyber Troopers PC

  • @caldera11 Thx man really love this game

  • anyone know where i can download this?

  • This is called VeryHard mode?... I'm pretty sure the Arcade CPU's could do better than this. And it was rated hard on the machines as well... While impressive at some points, your overall play style was completely lacklustre to deserve more than 7 points.

  • @ShadowArcsphere as said in almost every comment I made, I have another video where I play much better (perfect on jaguarundi). its called "Virtual-On Agressive Battle Style"

  • not impressed... is that very hard on pc? when i play it in the arcade.. theyre much stronger.. and .. some of the bots there u can easily perfect ... like the viper .. just use special attack on the start..

    but good :)

  • @DeathXLight28 as said in almost every comment I made, I have another video where I play much better (perfect on jaguarundi). its called "Virtual-On Agressive Battle Style"

  • That was pretty good against Juggernaut i was surprised you dodged all those lasers.

  • Actually the arcade port of VOCT (Virtual on) came out in 1995, then the Sega saturn port came out in 96, followed by this version (PC) in 1997 so this is from 1997.

  • ah, my bad, i must have gotten it in 97 then

    ill change the description

  • PC version wasn't made in 1994... or are you talking about the arcade version?

  • well, i got it with my windows 95 in 95, so it must've come out sometime around then

  • Yeah, the Sega Model 2 ports came from 1995-97.

  • I don't know, you transition a lot between fights, which looks like editing to string together good fights as opposed to one run, you don't show the whole fight with Jaguarandi which I find suspect (because anyone who played the original VO knows that one miss step on that fight can put you in a world of hurt) and you didn't show the fight with Raiden.

I wont discredit your skill, as your pretty sharp, but dispite that I'm not really impressed, aside from a bang up job on the Fei Yin.

  • Did you get a perfect against Jaguarandi? If so, nice!

  • in my "agressive battle" video i perfected him. I was pretty suprised!

  • I'd be surprised with myself if I did it too.

  • Where can i download this?

  • It was fun watching this with 'Conquista Ciela' playing in the background. XD

  • It's on Xbox live arcade, just got it last night!

  • I so want to get a copy of this game, any chance of digging it up and uploading it on bittorrent?

  • Funky colorsets some mechs have. Is it a PC Version thing?

  • that it is

  • :o awesome. Are they editable, is it that you can pick more colorsets, or are they just different?

  • you cant customize your own colours but there is a big selection of preset colours.

  • thanks!

  • where can i find the pc version of this

  • oh man, the first time i faced jaguarandi in the arcades, i got raped XD

  • I'm not bragging but as far as I can I remember, I beat like 7 grown up guys in our city without me losing (how can it not be?I'm the only V.O fan in that arcade!). But when I played the second version of this game, that's when I had difficult time in finishing this game.

  • This is the PC version, it has harder modes. (im playing on the hardest)

  • Awesome

  • Has the AI on the PC version been watered down?

I'm playing the Saturn version on PC and Fei Yen is a real spammer compared to your vid.

  • You may be playing on something easier than very hard mode, or maybe you are playing on fierce mode (harder than very hard, which isnt available on PC)

  • omg these guys pwned in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 JEAAA

  • How about Z Gradt???

  • lol i play this on my 1997 gateway laptop all of teh time

  • How did you get the PC version working? I tried to do it on my system, but the requirements kept asking for a Voodoo graphics card... not sure if I needed something else.

  • F**king Dragon Force in the end lol XD

  • You have a solid sense of spacing with the weapons, but you need to work on your movement. What system is this version for? I know it's not the Saturn Version because of Temjin's colors.

  • as ive said many many times, check out my agressive battle style video for some much better fighting. Its in other videos by me.

    this is the PC version.

  • too much movement against belgdor. jump-cancel+slash would've been faster and less movement.

but either way, nice vid! :)

and i miss my close-combat dorkas.

  • watch my better video "virtual-on agressive battle style" i own everyone better than this.

  • Ok, you probably don't like what I'm about to say, but I'm honestly bored watching this video, cos the ownage is mostly dependent on AI bugs. I was hoping to see at least a few HKSRs or sword-cancels. At any rate, I find Temjin too boring; I prefer to tongfer-slide-dash-cancel my way around the battlefield at breakneak speeds.

  • too bad only people who play this game TOO much know what the hell you are talking about.

  • i could beat you.

    just kidding.

    your pretty good.

  • yea check out my other video its even better "virtual on agressive battle style"

  • sega did a good thing back then to port this, sonic cd, and VF2 to the pc back in the day.... fond memories without the Saturn/Sega CD

  • I just found this in an arcade yesterday and quickly took a liking to it. I just picked Temjin because it looked cool, and lucky me I got the beginner friendly mech.

  • which arcade?

  • How am I supposed to elaborate on that?

  • oh, i meant location. are you in the us? there used to be a list of arcade machines in the us, singapore, etc...some of them were really intense, like every friday would be vo night w/ freeplay etc.

  • I live in Connecticut, I don't know exactly where the arcade is.

  • v-on is like the best arcade game, IMO. Ur sick at it btw. (rly good with apharmd) now if only the online was easy to work with so we could battle!

  • Use Model 2 Emulator and 2 ordinary joysticks. Works great.

  • hello! i've been playing VOOM for about 10 years. would you like to have a game sometime? We can use hamachi to simulate lan connection, although my connection right now isn't very fast.

  • no thanks man it never works for me when i try, plus my internet freezes when playing online connected games.

  • =\ wish there was effective multiplayer

  • also, not to burst your bubble but i'm fairly certain that this isn't very hard mode =) you'd never be able to hit a cpu temjin with a walk-up slice on v-hard mode.

  • i know that was an easy mode one...look at my videos, i have another one with all very hard mode and fast kills, called "Virtual-on agressive battle style".

  • mmm ic. decent speed run...footage taken from different runs? im gonna try to take some full speed runs...what was your best time?

  • 4 minutes and 8 seconds.

  • with temjin? try to finish bal with under 1 minute...get EXS ranking =P

  • how u make the perfect song work and the background music work on pc?

  • rip the music from the original Virtual-on disc (i have it), burn the music onto a new disc, and they will play when you play the game. (the original disc doesnt work on my PC but the ripping of it does)

  • The PC version was a surprisingly good conversion for that time. The colors were nicely done and the details were mostly there from the arcade, with some lower quality textures of course though. And the problem was, that with it being even as faithful a conversion as it was, few machines at the time had the power to run it properly. Not a problem anymore with today's PC's though of course. Then again, you can also just emulate the original arcade game now.

  • Actually, the original arcade game barely emulates. You pretty much have to use the PC version, but it runs perfectly on PC. The only problem is, if you don't have the CD, you don't get the music (not to mention you have to hex edit the game).

  • Haha I love how you cut out that Jaguarandi part.

  • can someone tell me how to change the color of the trooper(or robot)?

  • you go to the options, then go to mode options, then appendix tab, then select machine colour change and check the box off.

  • Thanks a lot man...

    It feels so new haha

  • fucking hell, people sound like such idiots when they say 'HAHAHA PWNED'

  • people sound like idiots when their screen name is cussy.

  • dude well played, only taken too long on the belgdor stage

  • you might want to check out my newer video, it is worse in terms of video quality, but better in terms of pwnage...lol

  • Holy friggen crap, how the hell do you make bal-bas-bow so goddamn easy. He's practically the only one I had issues beating, even compared to the unknowns.

I'm usually good with Fei-Yen, Arphamad, or Viper II

  • dont be afraid of the floating mines and you will be ok, bbb uses his floting mines in a psichological presure tacticas making you move the way he likes and than he pwns you when you go right into his trap, it's best to do things that he doesnt expect you to do

  • May I ask where you got this game?

  • came with my windows 95. lol

  • Do you think you can send it by e-mail?

  • Came with it?! O_O *totally jealous*

  • Me and my bro used to play this game a lot. Sometimes I would have to bring a fan in to cool us down because we would sweat so much from concentration. It was one of the best fighting games I ever played.

Oh the cursing you would hear from our room.

  • yea a couple of them were, but my second one (my newest video) is on very hard so check that out if you want some RLY good stuff.

  • How can you destroy those robots so Quickly?? It's Hard to get them quickly.

Ah Well I like this game still.

  • oh man you should see the video im going to upload soon, its "agressive battle" meaning i beat every robot within like 20 seconds.

  • I used to play this game untill Fun factory removed it Grrrrr....Temjin is my Forte.

  • I could kill all you guys in this game!!!

    Grrrrrr!!!

  • yea you wish 8D

  • I dont wish i know ^_^

  • can you get perfect on jaguarundi on very hard? XD

  • yes its the easiest to get a perfect on (besides temjin) because if you get hit once you are probably gonna die and my computer cant load the continue screen so yeah XDD

  • send me it please mchief357@(aol)(dot)com

  • I love how you dashed and sliced past Fei Yin at the end. Can you block or whatever in the arcade one?

  • and i do beter pwnage i pass the game 2rounds ea lvl with tem: 4,36min i passed the game with all robots i know secrets so write iff you need enything on skype nick red-temjin

  • I have the game on Xp but without music i can send you it Skype: red-temjin

  • sure, post yur email or something, lol, what's this skype ur speaking of o_O

  • i wouldnt call it a "now that's pwnage!" cuz you havent seen how does the jepanase pwn this game x]

anyway your play was flawless and you almost got all perfects but but you spent too much time over some robots like Belgdor for example

check my video on how it's done watch?v=B2LPU2uArus

  • Lol, i figured out a completely cheap way to face belgdor with temjin now, id love to post it, but lol, i cant play the game on this comp and i cant find my laptop.

  • it looks like custom robo lol

  • so where did u download this game cuz i wanna get it for my PC i used to play the shit out of this game a very very very vyer vyer great game

  • I got it on a disc for my windows 95, and for some strange reason, it only works on laptops(windowsXP), but its very hard to locate, good luck.

  • I got mine and it doesn't work because it can't find sgl.dll, Core.dll, and Engine.dll. I NEED HELP BADLY!

  • Is yours downloaded or on a disk? Keep in mind that this game is made to run on a Pentium MMX, but for some strange reason it works on most laptops, and laptops only. Odd.

  • not exactly, it is suposed to only work on intel MMX procesors, but i did a bit of exe file hexing and removed the stupid CPU check and now it runs on everything

  • Sweet, i'd love to know how that works, cause it would be great if i could play the game on the computer i'm typing on now.
