@exoticaguy69 Lady of the watermill My mother my godmother My mother my godmother Lady of the watermill Your path i do not know Your path i do not know Who has a mouth goes to rome (portuguese idiom) And so I shall do it And so I shall do it Lady of the watermill To your door i have arrived To your door i have arrived Lady of the watermill To your door i have arrived To your door i have arrived
@exoticaguy69 Lady of the watermill To your door i have arrived To your door i have arrived May your eyes walk with me And as i saw footsteps i gave And as i saw footsteps i gave Lady of the watermill Queen of Portugal Queen of Portugal Youre our kind mother Free us from all evil Free us from all evil
Lady of the watermill My mother my queen My mother my queen In the time of my death She shall be my living She shall be my living Lady of the watermill my mother my godmother my mother my godmother Lady of the watermill To your door i have arrived To your door i have arrived
I didnt mean for the spacing to be like that, but when i posted it changed. This his the best i can do and please note that in the translation much of the song power is lost. Hope you enjoy
I like this too It's totally different from the shit we listen to on the radio. Even though I don't understand the learics, it's a good band. If they translated it to english, I wonder how big they would get?
you cant translate portuguese popular music to english. The feeling will not be the same. U can translate to try to understand, but never make an english versin.
I donno about everyone else but I dig this shit. I normally listen to hip hop and would love to hear this mixed into a beat...but you gotta love the original.

I am more than sure if they translated their lyrics to english and go to North America they would really make it big.

This band reminds me so much of a french band in Northern Ontario Canada called Canoe. This is a really good band.
