  • Atlanta early 1980s, ah the nostalgia.

  • I saw them when I was 12 at the old Metroplex -the one that used to be a blood bank on Lucky St. It was one of the first concerts I went to. Chris was on stage shooting a syringe into his head as I walked in the door. Teens in heat and Freddy Vomit and who else played that night? I can't remember much from those days but I rmember that!

  • Hahaha; I love the scene with the popcorn box! This video never gets old!

  • your my nun!

  • Polyphemus......you ARE my uncle!

  • @ianmshipp Sorry man,I didn't recognise your handle at first...yeah,I'm your uncle!

  • lmfao! at 2:15 ive done that plenty of times!

  • Wow! Where did you find this? Go find some Razor Boys, Angelust, Baby & Pacifiers, Rose Whippurr, Nasty Bucks, Stash, Brains, Samurai Catfish, etc NOW!

  • That's my uncle David! :D

  • @Farelbroz135 ...I'm your uncle...is that the candy man? Dee?

  • The Ramones, with opening acts The Restraints and Single Bullet Theory the night before Thanksgiving @ the Agora in Atlanta, 1979. I remember Chris extinguishing a cigarette on his head. Great night, dangerous but fun crowd, and some recently out of Jonesboro HS Ramones fans take an instant liking to The Restraints.

  • @steverino47 Had the privilege of a pre-Thanksgiving turkey dinner wit' the Ramones...what a crazy gig!

  • Fabulous! God love Chris! Miss him miss him miss him......RIP mate!

  • Man, I remember this video... Spencer is out in LA doing indy film stuff. Chris used to come see my band a lot when we played at the old Bistro, his girlfriend was a waitress there and liked us. He admitted he liked us, begrudgingly, because he didn't want to admit he like power pop (bad for his image he said). Anyway - brings back lotsa memories - thatnks for the upload!

  • Strange to see Chris live after all these years! Miss him! RIP!

  • Oh jesus......I have been trying to find this video for so long. I remember seeing it a while back on early Mtv times, around with Pete Shelly's "Homosapein". Oh man the memories! Thanks for the upload. Nun gropping at its best!

  • I was the second bass player for the Restraints. When they broke up and our band broke up we merged. There is another video of that band. Still, I always loved the original band. David was an excellent song writer, artist, and deviant. I was proud to carry the banner till Chris shot that chick.

Ah well, sad things come to those that wait.

  • Chris was railroaded. Many of us don't believe that he shot her;she grabbed his gun,and it went off!

  • hah! I was the second base player! Love the original, loved our band (left overs from Nixon's aids). Too bad Chris shot that chick.

  • Wow; I had no idea this existed.

  • I wish there were more Restraints videos!

    WACKA WACKA!

  • I still have the 45 for Wacka Wacka. great band and a lot of great nights going to see them at Metroplex, Margaritaville and 688. Wonder whatever happened to that dousche Spencer Thornton - anyone remember channel 69, the VMC???? Discuss....

  • Bruce "The Butcher" Smith(VMC) used to play for us,he's an excellent guitarist. He and Richard Ronk(forner Restraints) have joined me(original Restraint) along with Rotger Rorgut on vocals for a Restraints reuinion at Masquerade on Oct. 4.

  • Chris Wood spit on me my second time on stage, at the First Underground Music Festival at the Little Five Points Pub, April 30, 1980. I believe it was a baptism into punkdom. I AM BORN AGAIN O PUNK ROCK LORD OF ATLANTA!

  • Who remembers when the Metroplex was on Luckie St.??? I saw the Restraints there and they ROCKED! the building is now a school across from the Aquarium. WEIRD!!!!
