  • LOL..im from malaysia..and i never buy malaysian made stuff..

  • nice

  • What if you were to fabricate your own part, would it be compliant

  • @inuyashacoolieo

yup, assuming you made it here in the USA

  • @GunWebsites Thanks

  • Using american made parts for russian, chinese, or bulgarian ak47's takes away the value of such foreign beuties.

  • Does a US made thumbhole stock count twice?

  • @brreed82

Well.. it changes the count.. without a pistol grip, you don't need to include that part in the equation

  • what a bullshit law

  • bureacracy is cowcrap

  • A pistol grip can make it illegal...really? That's so f-ing stupid, some of these laws, man.

  • It funny how a stupid piece of plastic can mean the difference between following or breaking the law.

  • How stupid are our federal gun laws? I mean what part of "...shall not be infringed." is so hard to understand?

  • ummm what gun would you think would be good for buck hunting

  • @KroniKXTC

    not an AK

  • @KroniKXTC a ray gun

  • @KroniKXTC I use my BDMS Ar15 in 5.56, But i have to use a 4rnd mag, It dose the job!

  • @KroniKXTC id say an xm307 would do the job or an at4 if your feeling exotic :P

  • Very informative, thanks.

  • Good topic...but gives me a headache! ;^{P>

  • ★★★★★

  • If you're using an imported AK pistol, and you're SBRing it, do you have to comply with 922r as well?

  • @VirgilHawkins1 NFA firearms are exempt from 922r

  • @VirgilHawkins1 I would do it just in case to cover yer rear..

  • I have a European American Armory PAP, made in Serbia. It takes a hokey single stack polymer 10 round magazine. Can I widen the mag well easily, to fit normal capacity magazines?

  • Whats the point of the 922(r) law anyway? how do they check for US mad parts? do they take your gun and pull it to bits? sounds like a silly lw to me...

  • What is so difficult about gun rights shall not be infringed. Sporting rifles have nothing to do with the 2nd ammendment, it is about a militia not killing a freakin deer, am I alone on this, a fifth grader could understand we gun rights in case the goverment gets too big and wants to take our rights away.

  • are you or do you ever get frustrated with this law that pretty much does absolutely nothing except make the common gun builder pay more money for American parts. This laws seems pretty stupid. Either way, I still have to comply.

  • How many 922r parts do you have to have in a ak? Thanks

  • @trustygun25

    5 or 6 typically

  • @GunWebsites What are some of the penalties for violating 922(r)?

  • I want to ask I was planing on SBR'ing a draco and I hear mixed opinions on whether that needs to be 922r compliant or not. I was under the impression that NFA items do not need to be 922r compliant and as you said neither do pistols.

  • Please explain "pre-ban" and why the premium price. Thanks

  • @fire1777

that was a law that came and went, in 2004.. I am not aware of any premium on "pre-ban" anymore

  • @GunWebsites In ban states like NY, NJ, CA and maybe others the pre ban models are grandfathered in so you can have the "evil features" like threaded muzzle and pistol grip.

  • I never knew this about aks I am so glad I chose ars at an earlier age

  • Is it just me, or is 922(r) one of the most pointless laws on the books?

  • I think I'll stop worrying about 922 :)

  • @ArtisanTony

you replaced US parts with US parts, so your AK is good to go as far as I can tell

  • @GunWebsites haha, I know, I was being facetious :) But that guy in CA where I got the wood furniture had a funny accent :)

  • @ArtisanTony

uh oh... if a part is made by an illegal aliens, that's a whole separate set of codes

  • What is your opinion of a front end conversion on saigas I did the same wire side folder conversion you did on my 7.62x39mm, but am wondering if I should do a front end conversion.

  • @ERF420

I kinda want to convert the front, but I don't want to pay for it, lol

  • I learn a lot of stuff when I watch your videos, that was really informative.

  • @killchain187

    thanks

  • What a stupid law

  • where at in phx do u live i use to live on cavecreek & bell

  • @treverlid87

we are in Tucson.. I meant down I-10..

  • was that a spent casing on your charging handle?

  • @rqm420 if you cram a spent shell on the charging handle it extends it just a bit and its easier to work the action with your left hand.

  • @jokerxxx74 thats genious!!! im gunna have to steal that idea from you friend

  • @rqm420

    yup

  • Thanks for the information! It really made me more informed in understanding these laws!

  • Superb video, G-Webs! :-)

  • @Hiluxtaco

    thanks

  • Arsenals are already compliant aren't they?

  • @strykersigma

yes, they make a lot of their hand guards, stocks, grips, etc here in the US

  • Very good video, lots good info

  • nobody get mad at me or anything, but whats the point of making it 922 compliant? i have never heard of anyone getting checked to make sure their AK is compliant

  • @BeanDip0913

Integrity is what you do when no one is watching

  • @GunWebsites good point

  • how can you well it a us part? does it need made in the usa on the part?

  • @TheAlexagius

    usually they say it

  • a lot of original Zastava stuff on the table. I'm surprised that you do not own a Yugo M92 given that you love Krinks and AK type pistols

  • If I were to SBR my draco, I assume I would also have to put in a bunch of compliance parts too since it then becomes a rifle correct?

  • @Tenacious21

actually NFA firearms are exempt from 922r

  • How the hell could someone dislike this video? Come on people!

Those of us who are sane need to recognize how much time and effort goes into making videos like this, and...

STOP FORGETTING TO LIKE A VIDEO!!!

This is the whole problem with the gun community! Many of us are way to lazy, apathetic, and allow the nut jobs to influence our world. If we would just make that little effort to click the "Like" button then it would make these moron's who act out of emotion seem so insignificant.

  • @tzychess

It's OK, we make videos for the conversation not the" likes"

  • The AK pistol on the right looks very nice.

  • Can self made components count as a US manufactured part?

  • @NoClassic Take a scribe to the part and write "US Made" on it. Problem solved, hahaha! :)

  • @NoClassic In all honesty, I don't know. Hopefully nobody reading the comments will come across that and actually think I was serious!

  • @NoClassic be careful with building components for firearms. For instance, receivers. things like that may require an FFL or NFA license. check your local laws.

  • @AgeOfDarkness94 I was more interested in the possibility of self made furniture (stock or hand guard) being included

  • @AgeOfDarkness94

only if you make them for profit.. a person can make a firearm for their own use

  • @GunWebsites I learn something new everyday... Thanks for the Information. So a person could say, buy a receiver flat and manufacture a semiautomatic rifle without any licencing?

  • @NoClassic

Yup, assuming you made them here in the US

  • 1st to be naked, bathing in applesause.

  • Nice!

  • 922nd

  • @GunWebsites Where can you get just a plain-ass sporterized Saiga rifle? I know everybody wants the militarized ones, but I just wanna shoot 7.62x39 out of a sort of AK.

  • @thetiniestbullfrog

Arms of America .. tell them we sent you

  • @GunWebsites Oh you.
