  • Trying going in to your Java folder and then to the bin. Then click javac.exe. Now try to type javac in command prompt. That is what I had to do and it worked.

  • It says, Failed to create a destination file, Now we are talking about JDK right? Because I need it. It opens Sun download manager when I try to download it, I clicks start and failed to create a destination file.

  • Don't use the download maneger. That's what i did and it worked for me.

  • when i get to the download platform, it has nothing for windows vista... it only says: windows, windows intel intalium, and windows x64

    Hi SIr, thank u so much for ur tutorial.It was very helpful.

    But  ....while editing the user variable path..,do v have to write it as C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\bin;.; or do v have to goto system variables >path> n add C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\bin; infront of windoes32..etc..etc..

    ur advise would be really helpful.

  • I think why some people are having so much trouble understanding your video is you forgot to tell them to reboot after they set the path. So to everyone who may have trouble, try rebooting your computer.

  • i have a folder called Sun appear and i can't change the name , so i have C:/Sun/jdk/bin;.; and javac doesnt work? please help ...

  • I downloaded it but there is no new folder in my (C:) drive called jdsk.

First kumrmusic told me how to download jdk but there was a problem then I read hackinghost's tip and it worked! Thank you to all that have helped me! Sorry I got a little excited because I have been waiting a long time for jdk to work! Just one question though whenn I run my "Compile.bat" file it says 3 errors. It is supossed to compile all ".java" files into class can anyone help me? You read all this!? WOW!

  • go to My computer right click >> Properties >> Advanced >> Environment Variables look at System Variables > click on 'Path' and edit (go to where ur JDK bin folder is saved,copy the folder url,and paste it here in the Variable Value area) for example,C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin...

    Then it should work. GoodLuck

  • well i tried that,but it still didn't work out ...my jkd bin folder is located at "C:/jdk1.6.0_03",so that's what i typed in the path directory..
