In a way, the swell to the chorus of "I'm Alright Now" is a bit reminiscent of "Piano Man," but the overall tone and structure of David Ford's song is far removed from Joel's tune. That you picked up on that is impressive, yet there is something haunting in all great music that reminds us of the past.
