Kui took a MA from the University of Notre Dame around 2007. I believe, then, he matriculated to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a DM. He is a phenomenal performer, a gifted interpreter, and a good man. This would likely be recorded between 2007-8, most likely in a hall in Madison, Wisconsin. That's my guess, anyway.

Didn't know Carl Vine before, but I'll be making a point of getting to know his work now. :D

I thought i would be the first to comment. Carl Vine is one of those composers who, in my opinion, always sounds as though he hasn't been taking his medication. Carl Vine is most definitely an acquired taste. Having said that, you play him incredibly well.
