Just watched you play the Chopin Study & had to see you play this. Again you held my interest, musically, from start to finish. And there are some lovely sounds & textures in your playing. In his classes, Perlemuter used to say that the quality of the end should be exactly like the start. He would make students go straight into the piece again without a perceptible break. You finished with a splash! Again, he'd say, "It's Ondine and she's a tease not a virutoso! so be seductive". Great playing.
Very good !! Watch out for the rubato though. Ravel indicated everything in the music sheet, you don't need to add anything. He once said the best pianist to play his works was a mechanical piano, because it sticks to the music sheet without adding anything !!! But very very good !! (I can't play it this sharp and fluent)
what did I do to you for you to be so harsh... I was just giving my advice, than congratulating the pianist because I think he plays it well... How is your comment constructive ?
Wow, amazing playing, thank you! You're right Mike, it is absolutely an incredibly beautiful piece and I'm so glad to be seeing young people play it, classical music lives on!!
O_O AMAZING! I wish I could play Ondine as well as you play it. Great job :)

What a treat! IMHO the most beautiful piano work in all the literature. Have you tackled Scarbo? Thanks for the post.
