I'm not a nadal-lover...so to speak. But I get so frustrated when people say that a match-up like this is all about skill vs. strength/power. Even if a player is fast and strong, they won't get anywhere in tennis if they don't have finesse, timing, and coordination. People always underestimate how much finesse it takes to strike the ball like Nadal does.

If you know anything about tennis saying he's on steroids will make you seem mad. Strength isn't really the most important part of tennis, you need a strong torso at least but all players have that. Nadal has always been a bit of a strong person and in fact has been reducing it because he had "too much" of it.

Nadal is on steroids, it is the worst kept secret in tennis and finally he got publicly called out on it by ex-Grand Slam champion Yannick Noah. Without that doping cheater Nadal, Federer would have won 2008 Wimbledon, 2009 Australian Open, and 2006, 2007, 2011 French Open. It sickens me that Federer is getting cheated out of Grandslams by this muscled up cheater. But the ATP will protect Rafa because they think he is too big to fail. Federer and Djoker are skinny as hell but Nadal=Barry Bonds

@SavagePersonified90 Um, in case you haven't noticed, there have been frequent drug tests for players since, lol, forever. This is a well known fact. Also, in case you haven't noticed either, Spanish players are naturally strong, fit, etc, etc, and this is a well known, OBVIOUS, and inevitable consequence of a heavy clay court game. Taylor Dent is similarly built, but I don't see anyone saying he did steroids. Do you?

@Stylaz21 TRUE THAT HE isn't dominant , BUT HE ENDS EVERY YEAR WITH ONE OR TWO BIG TITLES ON THE SURFACE . FEDERER DIDN'T WIN ANY TITLES ON CLAY IN 2003 ,2006 , 2008 AND 2010 .

@soydeespana He won Estoril in 2008. But dude, that's not a far comparison at all, because Fedzie only plays like 3 or 4 claycourt tournaments a year, whereas Nadal plays like ten a year or so. If it wasn't for Nadal (a compliment towards Rafa) Roger would have had much more claycourt titles than he has now. Roger has been the second best player on clay for the last six years and he is surely one of the alltime greats on this particular surface I believe.

Funny thing about Rafa is that he probably doesn't even know how or why he plays certain shots. he's so much like a child, and he doesn't quite follow the same logic as most players which makes him sometimes unpredicatable.
