I saw LJ at a Taylor workshop in Michigan back in '96 or so.....had no idea who he was at the time, let alone that he had played with Paul and Wings. One of the best 2 hours of my life!
Especially being new to fingerstyle guitar at the time, I was blown away by the Beatles covers, Little Wing etc.
He sure is one of the best out there.
And though learning his tunes is not an easy task, all of his videos are VERY good, with good TAB. Worth the time to learn him
i think its the fucking ballbag of a woman that gives this interview abit of a urrghh feel

Really really good player - very satisfying tone and feel. Never OTT -uses the full fingerboard in his playing and ever tasteful.

it'd be great to cut the interview section apart from the playing. Nonetheless, a pleasure, thanks for posting it. LJ sound is one of a kind.

Yeah, you know that english charm that's a combination of humor, openess, and whip cream sweetness that makes you want to sit and listen.
