You consider refusing to salute our flag, and, pledge his allegiance to the country he wants to lead, to be minute details. I condider them fairly basic. Any structure built must have a strong foundation to stand. You might have learned that in sunday school had your church focused on the "minute details" of Christian Theology. But why waste time with facts when myth and lies work better for your cause. regardless, the parable still applies even if you don't think it should.

Oh and on the "refusing to salute the flag" deal. It wasn't the Pledge of Allegiance. It was the Star Spangled Banner. Many "patriotic" folks don't cover their hearts during it's singing. There are tons of pics, however, of Obama placing his hand over his heart during the pledge. And the whole lapel thing, as I said, is absurd. I never knew that wearing one meant that you were more American than one who didn't.Not everyone has to wear flags to show how much they love their country.

America DOES rock. I can't deny that. I doubt anybody is. Now if Wright has a differing opinion, that's on him. But he comes from a time when black folks were treated pretty much like animals. to have a level of resentment, fear or even mistrust, I'm thinking is a bit understandable.

Well you haven't been able to dispute. All I hear is "rev wright is a racist" "rev wright is wrong" "rev wright is the boogey man." My question is, "what in hell did rev wright say?" Ask that and I get a bunch of "um...well. he said...um. You're a COMMIE!"

It isn't my attempt to rightfully place slavery as one of the more unseemly practices of our history to "milk" anything. Recognizing it and relegating it to what it was in no way is a cry for handouts or even sympathy. Most blacks I know aren't into this whole "reparations" thing. But it's silly, at the same time, to try and dismiss it's significance and resulting effect not only on blacks but on whites as well.

I like how you conveniently sidestepped my questions. And I should be outraged by what? Do YOU even know? Wright said some pretty controversial things, for sure. But if you get beyond the vitriol and the race of the dude, you'll see some truth in it. You're no different than the other fools getting upset and foamy-mouthed over some shit that you can't even dispute.

Do you realize you are using your own argument against yourself? If you think elevating racist screamers of conspiracy rhetoric to national prominence is productive you are not mature enough to vote. Fact is this country has provided futures to millions of aliens which cannot speak the language. Where is the justification for Black Rage ? jerdeb4ever, what in hell are YOU talking about? Who's "elevating racist screamers?" Temper some of your passion with some comprehension and common sense. And no one doubts what America has done for it's people. But, at the same time, don't be so blind as to dismiss all the horribly dispicable things that we, as a nation, are responsible for. It ain't "un-American" to express displeasure with your country or with some of the things it's responsible for.

I don't care how long of an clip of Rev. Wright, Farakhan or Mr. Phleger you watch, they qualify as racist screamers. Mrs. Obama is just a racist whom talks loudly. As for what the left believes this country needs... children often want juice, food or treats that are not appropriate, adults must keep the big picture in focus and the childs well being in mind. Maybe I misunderstood Mrs. Obama. I thought she said ..."I don't see the world thru the eyesw of a Harvard and Princeton educated executive, but thru the eyes of that poor child on the south side of Chicago," then, " when I heard that Barack, a black man, had grown up on an island, I knew he was odd..." I realize that as a conservative my distinction of what is or isn't racist means nothing to you. Did Barack visit his White Gramma in hospital after she was run over by her Grandson?

Even funnier. She saying, in the first thought, that it's not her higher education or her teachings that shape her world, but her upbringing and rearing. And she was clearly joking about having reservations about dating her husband. It's not your stance on politics that means nothing, it's your obvious and clear bias that baffles me, but makes it clear how you can completely misconstrue, misinterpret, and misread harmless comments. And I dunno about Barack and his grandma. Tell me.

Talk about selective hearing. Refer to Mr. Obamas excuse speech on how everyone else is misconstruing his words. It is us that are the racists. I don't doubt that slavery was a world-wide issue. But it is definitely one of the more reprehensible and shameful aspects of OUR history. Yeah alot of other folks were complicit in it's perpetuation. But the fact remains that WE, as a nation, benifitted from subjugation of a whole race of people. Typical that someone with the NObama name would try to lessen the gravity of it.

My friend, this is 100% true. Right wing Fox is out to destroy Obama. I believe they were the first to report about Obama's Pastor statements. I am just happy that most people like yourself can see the truth. I hope Obama continue to stay away form the Obama attack machine known as right wing FOX.
