  • What is the shift knob size? (i want to buy a new one for my Z but dont know the size)

  • How does this shifter not use the stock guide/lock out plate ?

  • Comment removed

  • Lot of effort for minor gain, if your that fussed stop playing and stick a supercharger for some real gain...

  • @THEYELLOWDARTkyle Shortshifters do not give you any gain or power whatsoever. They only decrease your throw for easier shifting with less effort.

  • who am I?

    a Ricer. XD

  • @dukviper90 hahaha thats fucking cold

  • when you take off the shifter is there retainer screw or bolt I have tried to remove the shifter but seen to be stuck any help would be appreciated and thank you for your how to video I enjoyed it

  • @tehee1266 we show you that its the first step into removing your shifter, yes theres a rubber boot and bolt located UNDER your car, you have to remove that first in order to remove it from the inside of your car.

  • which brand would you recommend for my 05 Base model Z?

  • what does a short shifter do in performance?

  • @p8ntbawlr210 the Shorty Sifter gives you a shorter throw when shifing. As performance wise; you want to have the quickest shift when changing gears. It requires less effort to make the shift. E.g. from a two inch throw; down to under an inch. I hoped that helped. Thanks for the question.

  • @Specdtuninginfo thanks.... so shorter the shifter.... the better the performance... good to know...

  • @p8ntbawlr210 It feels better when you shift.

  • What if we only want to change the shifter knob do we just unscrew the stock knob and put it on?

  • Wow another new tutorial that's not on headlights. Awesome video guys

  • @minhsteve09 Yeah, its true, we are opening different options from headlights and tail lights. Thanks again for the support

  • @minhsteve09 Correct! However, please be sure that the knob that you are buying is made for your car. Because if not, the threads will be different and you might strip it trying to screw it on. If the item is universal, it will come with a plastic cap and small screws that will tighten the cap when the put the knob on. Good luck
