I was in denial about my sexuality for three years. I labeled myself bisexual, because there was no getting around the fact that I liked girls, but maybe if I was bi, I could go back to being straight someday. But in the meantime I felt shattered. Then, when I FINALLY admitted to myself that I was a lesbian, all those shattered peices of me came back together, and they fit even better than before. I was scared, but I didn't want to go back, because for once, everything made sense.

I was in denial about my sexuality for three years. I labeled myself bisexual, because there was no getting around the fact that I liked girls, but maybe if I was bi, I could go back to being straight someday. But in the meantime I felt shattered. Then, when I FINALLY admitted to myself that I was a lesbian, all those shattered peices of me came back together, and they fit even better than before. I was scared, but I didn't want to go back, because for once, everything made sense.
