08 GT JBA LT's and o/r h pipe with ford racing stingers

does this setup drone a lot at cruising speeds... i'm thinking about doing this soon

@moyomomma14 Youre gonna hear it at highway speeds, but theyre straight through mufflers so it doesnt drone NEARLY as bad as a chambered muffler will like a flowmaster. In my opinion it doesnt drone at all really.

if you still have the car could you please make a sound clip vid of driveby's and takeoff's and inside the car sound please i just bought my headers and o/r h but going to be awhile before i get em installed would really love another video having what would sound like so i have somthing to look forward to! thankyou! sorry for bugging you so much i just love your exhaust

so you said it felt like you lost power on low end but do you think the gain on high end makes up for the difference? or do you think i should just go with shorty's and keep the o/r x and frpp stingers i have on now to keep the low end but with a better designed shorty to improve horsepower more?

@bseidle well from the research I've done shorty headers offer very little to no hp increase, if you want a power increase get L/T's. The increase in your upper rpm range is well worth it, besides when you race the car you stay in your upper rpms anyway. as far as the X or H pipe, in my opinion its all personal preference, the X pipe gives a few extra ponies but I really like the way an H pipe sounds over the raspyness of the X pipe, but like I said, personal preference.

Nice stang man checkout mine! I'm going to be runnin boost brothers longtubes with o/r h and FRPP stingers axleback on my 08 after I get some money but they are supposed to be exact replica of Jba's how much of a power diff did you feel?

@bseidle It actually felt like I lost some power on the bottom end but once you wind the motor up I noticed a huge difference. I joke with my friends saying my car has vtec cuz its a bit sluggish at first then it just takes off, I'm bout to swap in some 4.10's to take care of that problem though lol.

@bseidle yeah 4.10s will give you a lot more acceleration on the low end, Its made by CDC and I got it from AM but they dont sell it anymore, just the one without the GT emblem

I bet it is very loud. It's almost impossible to have no rasp with the exhaust on these cars no matter what the setup.

Wow your car sounds really good. How raspy would you say the exhaust is if any at all? I have the same setup as you(jba lt's and jba o/r h pipe) and I am really thinking about getting the stingers but some other videos I saw they sounded very raspy. But yours sounds amazing! Do you have any other videos of your exhaust?

@bullittrevor its a little raspy but not much, overall I'm very happy with it, I will warn you though, it is VERY loud on cold starts, it rattles the windows in my neighbors house lol once it warms up though its not that bad.
