Hardy in the Music Box, if the tunes were popular they'd get pressed as dublates and only then if there was enough demand would they get put out on a label, even then many agents would press bootlegs for their own profit.
It's impossible to track the roots of many of the early tracks.
Yeah ~ I found a 1987 Trax disc with "Your Love " b/w "Baby Wants......" but they are the Frankie Knuckles versions. And, of course, Jamie is not mentioned as the writer or singer ~ well, except that his real name "Walton" is in brackets, so at least, maybe, he got some financial recognition.
