  • the reason rossi is the best is because he knows inside and out of the bike. he knows how to set the bike up properly and he is the best at telling his team how to set the bike up. overall best test rider out there

  • @VWRabbit2008

YEah dats rite hes still the best even though hes not winning rite know..hes stilll....the best!

  • Solo Inter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sisi come dici te!!!

  • Re 3:00 ... What makes a V4 better than an inline 4?

  • the 800 are hardly slower, they clocked marco down the back straight of shanghai doing 212 or 213 mph, and on the 990 down estoril they clocked capirossi doing 216 i think, so how can they be safer! there doing faster lap times too

  • I really want the 2 stroke 500cc's back :(

they were fast loud and stinky and did big wheelies.

    i love them

  • Same rossi would kick ass stoner would be shit without ducati

  • Oh, Derbz....get a life!

Yeah it's obvious that it's the bike & not Stoner right??????

That's just why all the other ducati riders are constantly on the podium right?????

How many ducati ridrs do you see on the podium over the last 3 years that stoner has been with them???

how many wins by ducati riders sinse then??? ONE!!! Just one!!!

Get off his back & admit the kid has skill & leave it at that would you. Give credit where it is due....Valentino did...why can't people like you??

  • When I ask how many, I simply mean apart from stoner. It's so obvious that it's not just the bike but the man on it . It's a joke.

I know Valentino is the best but give Stoner a bit of credit you one-eyed Valentino nerd!!

  • oh mitch.... Wtf dont you get it im saying stoner is only good with the ducati duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. when he was with the 990cc v5 honda he never once made the podium. yes he is a good rider or though i feel he will never be a great rider now with the likes of electronic aids. oh by the way thanks for calling me a valentino nerd im really proud of that. the guys a legend and the greatest of all time. although i feel stoner will be his biggest threat next year.

  • Derbz, firstly, you didn't say that stoner was only good with the ducati ...you said he "would be shit without ducati" & secondly stoner did get a podium on the honda....was just pipped at the post by Melandri. Considering he was in a privateer team & he recieved crapp parts & was last inline with everything from honda, he did a good job for his first year. Yes he crashed a lot but stuff happens when you go up a class, even to Rossi.

Oh & in case you didn''t notice I also said rossi is No1.

  • ye exactly without ducati he wouldn't win a race. theres evidence on it. rossi won 12 races on a privater bike on the honda nsr. without traction control and all that shit. + he never crashes on a warm up lap lmao wat a wetty .look youll never be able to get me to like the arrogant bastard. sorry

  • Who the hell said I was trying to get you to like him derbz???

" he never crashes on a warm up lap"

And what....Rossi has never made a mistake????

  • Rossi also had full factory support & had the best of everything. He was in Doohans team, do you think he was getting the scrapps like stoner was? I don't think so!

Anyway, let's just accept that rossi is better than stoner & leave it at that. That is not in debate.

  • By the way, when you say that stoner "would be shit without ducati", it implys that the ducati is better that the other bikes. That is what I thought you where saying. He also came second in the 250s in 2005 & it wasn't on a ducati.

Anyway, let's just agree that rossi is the best...at least that is something we can agree on :)

    Cheers.

  • the shift from 990 to 800 was to make it safer yet bikes are going a lot faster now.. i wonder how that works.. if u look at it, the 800s are easier to handle throttle-wise therefore easier to use and develop ECU's with and easier for rookies to learn to ride.. perhaps so, dare i say, other magnates like rossi have less of an edge.....?

  • 800's go into corners a lot quicker and have higher mid corner speeds... they are generally faster. they are slightly lighter too.. But if they went any lower like 4 stroke 400 or 4 stroke 600 they would be too slow..

They have lots of ECU, electronics etc, anti wheel spin shit, so you just twist the throttle and ride its a lot easier than the old 2 stroke 500's and easyier than 4 stroke 1000's

  • sure, ur completely right, and all these driver aids are making it easy for ducati riders ( i dont want to mentione any names) to handle their bikes because the ducati V4 has a lot of power and needs either a very gutsy person or a very good TC to ride the desmo..

  • brilliant video.vale is a top bloke

  • the gd thing abt valentino is that he is bever really sad, well of cource he will be sad many times, but he does not go ''oh damn, this is bad i should have won...pff'' bla bla bla. thats maybe y people hayed biaggi, rossi is much more optimistic and thats wot makes him a better person

  • I would like to see Vale in "rosso"(red in Italian:) ). Then not only Stoner would have a power on straights. Good Luck Vale, you're the best!!! cheers from Poland

  • This was a brilliant interview well done to whoever posted this great to see valentino talking he is such a sportsman and a genius on a bike going to see hin in brno in aug 08 rossi for sure world champion 2008 and riding for ducati by 2010.

  • I just love Vale he's so polite:p

    CiaoOo

  • Thatd be cool to see Vale on a Ducati, if that happens i don't think anyone will beat him :-D

Valentino for the World championchip next year!

You are still the best Vale! :-)

  • dont be so optimistic about Ducati as u are about Rossi cuz without a shadow of doubt he is the best rider of all times a living legend, which is extremely hard to find but about Ducati I dont know, sure they are good bikes but I think Yamaha is better, they are way better in handling around curves because of the lower center of gravity.. and thats where rossi is best, in the curves so he needs a bike that can go well around the track and not a beast that can go only better in straights.

  • Yeah that's true, Yamaha have really improved this year Ducati is fast but doesn't corner as good as the Yamaha, and this year Yamaha have done a lot about that speed difference it's not as much as it used to be.

  • yeah although i agree with you, rossi would look cool in a ducati.. but the question is, does red suit the italian maestro? :p

  • It would be cool to see him on a Ducati, as for the red suiting him he still looks strange with the red Bridgestone hat on lol

  • Thanks for posting this...I appreciate any coverage of MotoGP and especially Valentino Rossi, we don't get much in the US.

  • Good interview, he seems decently honest here.

  • I love this man, and not in a gay way-honest.

  • Great interview. The best MotoGP rider of all time. Just full of character. We all love you here in Australia Vale.
